Does intrusion blocking and firewall turn off entirely at one year? What security features remain without subscribing?

Gryphon will still be a more secure WiFi router with free parental controls, content filtering, screen time management, network management, and more. Does gryphon work with the duckduckgo search engine?

Hi there. Good question. When safe search is turned on for the user profile, duckduckgo is blocked and only Bing or Google is accessible with safe search forced on at the network level. We would love to work with duckduckgo to enable safe search for them as well in the future.

How many devices can be hooked up to this unit?

Thanks for the question. Each Gryphon can support 3 wired LAN devices and over 250+ wireless devices. Each Gryphon has three separate radios, one for 2.4GHz, one for 5GHz, and a dedicated 5GHz backhaul for wireless mesh. Having separate radios helps with congestion by spreading the load. BTW, you can also prioritize a device on the network in case you want to stream Netflix and there are others on the network watching Youtube. :)

Where can i read more specific technical information about how you are using eset for web filtering? do you have a whitepaper online?

This device utilizes ESET's web filtration database. That is, according to Gryphon, the entire ESET filtration for URL's is stored locally on the Gryphon and updated regularly and your browsing data is NOT sent to Eset.
