It helps my old horse hold his weight.
This isn't an answer on it's own, but un conjunction with weight building aids, I believe it helps these things stay in the gut longer and improves absorbsion of the additives.

Love this stuff!!
The quality of the beet pulp is amazing. I have bought other brands at the local AGWAY and the quality is not the same.

Great Beet Pulp
good quality beet pulp, horse loves it, smells fresh and sweet, some pieces are a little big and need to be crushed further but not many

Goats hated it, would not eat it. I have a big bag now sitting in the corner.
