Great size for our needs

The melting consistency and final product is always reliable and silky smooth. Most importantly to me, because I can't add any fragrances to my products for health reasons, the odor is basically undetectable after it's incorporated, diluted and cured. I made the mistake of ordering a *slightly* less expensive brand because it offered a small price break in a larger amount, and I had to throw it out after one batch because I couldn't handle the stench. It cost me much more in the end than just sticking with this. That said, I would love to be able to buy this in a larger bulk quantity, if only to avoid so much plastic waste.

Utilizo este BTMS 50 para mis mascarillas capilares caseras y, técnicamente, los resultados son insuperables. Al tener mayor actividad que el BTMS 25, la capacidad de desenredo y la suavidad que aporta al cabello son notables desde la primera aplicación. Sin embargo, hay dos puntos que me impiden darle la calificación perfecta. Primero, el olor es algo fuerte y penetrante; tiene ese aroma químico característico muy marcado que obliga a usar aceites esenciales para equilibrar la fragancia final de la mascarilla. Segundo, el empaque debería mejorar; para un producto de 16 onzas que se usa gradualmente, se agradecería un envase más robusto o una bolsa con un cierre hermético de mejor calidad que asegure la conservación de los gránulos frente a la humedad. A pesar de esto, si buscas un emulsionante que deje el cabello con textura de salón, este producto cumple su función con creces.

Great for shampoo and conditioner bar.

Very good quality as far as I am concerned. It's worked for everything I have used it for. Remember there is a different between 25 and 50, this 50 has a smaller conditioning content than 25. Will be purchasing more in the future.

Not sure if it was only this batch or does the BTMS-50 smells horrible. Also takes forever to melt.
