From Ray Dalio, the legendary investor and #1 New York Times bestselling author of Principles —whose books have sold more than five million copies worldwide—comes a guided reflection journal that empowers readers everywhere to develop their own principles for success in work and life. “Principles are fundamental truths that serve as the foundations for behavior that gets you what you want out of life.” —Ray Dalio In his #1 New York Times bestseller Principles , legendary investor Ray Dalio introduced millions of readers around the world to the unconventional approach he developed as the founder and builder of Bridgewater Associates, the largest and most successful hedge fund in the world. Dalio attributes his unique success to his process of recording, refining, and acting on a set of well-defined principles, which are effectively decision-rules for getting what you want out of life and work. His goal in publishing the book was to show readers the value of principle-based thinking so that they could develop their own principles, aligned with their own values, for getting whatever they wanted out of life. With this new journal, Dalio takes his goal one step further to help readers reflect on and record their own principles. He does that by providing a series of guided exercises and questions for reflecting on what you’re like, what you value, and what principles will best help you achieve your goals. These exercises draw from key concepts in the original Principles book, including: 1. How to identify your strengths, weaknesses, motivations, and preferences 2. How to use the “five-step process” to achieve your goals 3. How to become both “assertive and open-minded at the same time” 4. How to maximize your learning from your mistakes (which are inevitable) All of these exercises can optionally be enhanced using the free Principles in Action iOS and Android app (currently available in the United States, UK, Germany, Spain, and India with more countries to come), which provides an even more interactive, multimedia experience, and they are followed by a number of blank journal pages containing thought-provoking and unconventional prompts from Principles aimed at helping you formulate your own principles . The experience concludes with a structured reflection on where you and your loved ones are along life’s journey, leaving you with a highly personalized, practical playbook for achieving success in the years ahead. Review: This book Principles your guided journal by Ray Dalio help you to build your own prinples. - This is a good book every body needs to have it in their collection. That book can help you to buld your own principles for success in work and life. That book motivated me more about my principles, then I was learning the life in arc I didn't know. That book is not expensive. It deserve 5 stars. Review: A great tool for self-education - I’ve read all Ray Dalio books and this notebook is a great extension for self-education. I don’t care about the size of the letters font or some minor convenience issues. Just be grateful for the precious knowledge that is being shared with you, even if it is on a scrap of a paper. Highly recommend if you are familiar with Ray Dalio. I would not recommend to start with this Journal if you have no idea who Ray Dalio is and have never read any of his books.

Fabulous. Also written in pale gray type in lots of what comes across as point font.
The book is a wonderfully gentle assault on what I’m going to call un-clarity. Dalio offers Principle, after Principle, after lucid all but self-evident Principle, as if he and the reader were both Michaelangelo and we were the block of marble. One of them is, “Everybody has one big thing that’s stopping them. Find it and deal with it.” By the time that nugget shows up, he’s presented sufficient exercises and homework such that “deal with it” is more than do-able. Recommended.

definitely a book to pick up many times every day from the coffee table
Ray is a little wordy, but he's honest truthful and if you got the time, definitely a must read twice. It's like talking to a pal who wants you to improve your life and be able to do what you need to do to be who you want to be.

Worth every buck
The object itself is beautiful. The content and structure is well designed. I've started reading it yesterday, and it's already life-changing.

Amazing journal. Makes you think and forces you to look at principles in detail
Loved every bit of this book. One thing to know up front is the app isn't avaliable in Canada but it's just an addition and supplement NOT a necessity. Everything you need is here and like typical Ray Dalio he allows it to flow short or long. You can choose your own adventure. It's been wonderful and forced me to learn alot about myself.
