Tycoon [Evans, Katy] on desertcart.com. *FREE* shipping on qualifying offers. Tycoon Review: Steamy second chances romance - What a thrill!!! Every time I read that Katy Evans is going to publish a new book that thrilled me because she never disappoints, Katy's romances are always too explosive and full of attraction and chemistry. Tycoon is a tender romance, sensual, passionate and with that attraction and chemistry that cause you goosebumps and makes you sigh, and the best and that I loved more, is of second chances, takes us for a journey through time where we see glances of the past and the present of both protagonists. I thought that no protagonist could dethrone Remy, but believe me when I say that Aaric came very close to him and I'm still thinking about it. Aaric and Bryn have known each other since high school, they were very close friends, but they never came to more, although they both wanted, it was not their moment, there were always doubts, too much fear, too many "what if", and no one take risks, despite that the attraction is felt in the dialogues and in the monologues of the characters. After many years both have changed a lot and they meet again, this because Bryn looks for Aaric to help her with money for her business and he is a very powerful man, then the chemistry and attraction that they felt had reappears and becomes much more, but small detail, Aaric has a girlfriend and they are about to become business partners. So, despite all Bryn is super reluctant to be carried away by what she feels and tries to resist. But the attraction is almost palpable in the pages and the dialogues cause you a swarm of butterflies in the stomach. Then Aaric wants to get to Bryn and is willing to do anything to achieve it. Loved the characters, they are perfect for each other, Aaric Christos, Ohmy!!! A tender, sexy, warm, devoted, loyal, good friend, radiating sensuality, warmth, that made me laugh and that caused me so much tenderness. There is something about all the male characters of Katy, they always radiate so much masculinity and are so protective of the ones they love, Aaric, it's all that and more, and what I liked the most is that he is always there for Bryn and seeks to protect her despite of everything. He shows in every moment everything he feels for her. Bryn is a beautiful girl, who wants to get ahead, and for that she seeks help in Aaric. He tests and encourages her to be a better person. As time goes on, the feelings they have for each other are resurfacing and increasing and it is difficult for both of them to be close and not give in to the attraction and feelings they have. But in addition, begin to arise difficulties, problems and to resurge old fears. I love the dialogues, and Katy's description of feelings is out of the ordinary. That attraction sparks from the pages. I loved Aaric's POVs, a glimpse of his mind and I fell down at his feet, a new literary boyfriend. What a beautiful man, in those little glimpses we saw how persevering Aaric is and everything that fights for his feelings, his patience and surrender to Bryn. The secondary characters are always important and I really can not wait for the story of Ian and Sara. If you want a story with great passion, chemistry, sweetness, friendship, second chances, this is perfect for you, you will not want to miss this alpha male and his beautiful love story. Review: An intriguing story with a touch of angst and unexpected turns! - What would you do if you had a dream you wanted to make a reality so bad, that your only chance was to reach out to the boy you once knew. The boy who is now a powerful business magnate who can be cruel, ruthless and aggressive? His help could jumpstart your dream, but the risk to yourself may just be much too high. Bryn Kelly is determined to make her business idea a reality, but to do so, she needs financial backing. After exhausting all traditional options, she has one card left to play. Reach out to Aaric Christos, the boy who once protected and wanted her. But it’s been years since he left and is now a very successful businessman in New York City. Determined to make this happen, she sets up a meeting with the man himself. I must admit I was frustrated with Bryn in parts of this story. She was determined and feisty when it came to her business idea and how far she would push to achieve her goal, however, when it came to her personal life, she was afraid to take any risks. She wanted Aaric, but his powerful presence and determination seemed to intimidate her often. Aaric Christos is a man who came from nothing, but was determined to be somebody one day. After he left, he worked hard to reach his own goals. Remembering the girl who once held his heart, he was determined to be a man worthy of a woman like her. And now, years later he has the world at his fingertips. Ready to move forward as one of the most powerful men in the city, the girl from his past may just rock his world in ways he never expected. I loved Aaric. He was a man who had a difficult life when he was younger. Affected by so much loss early on, he worked very hard to get where he is today. Yes, he could be aggressive, ruthless and moody, but he could also be loving and caring. He wanted to do the right thing, even if it would cost him everything. Overall, I enjoyed Tycoon by Katy Evans. It was intriguing, had a bit of angst, an unexpected twist and a male hero I really liked. I loved the look into their past interactions and how it helped shape them into the people they were today. We also had quite the interesting side characters that made us laugh, Bryn’s friends, and cringe, those close to Aaric. Though not my favorite Katy Evans book, Tycoon held enough interest to draw me in and keep me intrigued until the very end. There were times I felt things moved quickly and we were left with unanswered questions, but then Katy gave us another point of view and things fell into place. I am excited to get Sara’s story next and catch up with Aaric and Bryn. Reviewed for Reviews From The Heart.

An intriguing story with a touch of angst and unexpected turns!

4/5 STARS Ok First thing first: THE.COVER. Without a doubt, my favorite so far this year. Absolutely amazing. Back to the book. Second chance love... Nothing original here, but this is Katy Evans, so I thought, “it just cannot be awesome!!” And I was right!! I devoured the book during my weekend, and yes, it was so, so good… Being a fan of Katy Evans, I knew this would be AGAIN the perfect mix of drama, angst, passion and humor too. The author really has talent to describe feelings. There were so many lines to pick! Christos is all Alpha, ad Bryn really strong ad brave. I loved the double POV, the flashbacks, I swooned, cursed, and felt so hot too, I just love this author… I just couldn’t help re-reading the last chapters; I just wasn’t ready to leave this couple. The only “but” would be the lack of “Epilogue”, but reading the Acknowledgments I guess AD HOPE we’ll get some hints of Christos ad Bryn in a near future. However, even without a real “Epilogue”, the last line was just perfect. You have to read this book!

Katy Evans you clever, clever thing! You really write some great romance novels that allow me a much needed escape at the end of the day. And as usual have me reading to the wee hours of the morning.... This is Bryn and Aaric's story. Their chemistry is off the charts. The yearning between these two was off the charts. The passion off charts. Ultimately the love was off the charts. “He was a little bit too bad, and I was a little bit too good. He was a demon in the making and I was still Daddy’s little angel.” As teenagers Bryn was drawn to Aaric however she kept him at arm’s length because she was scared of her feelings for him. Aaric wanted Bryn with an intensity that blindsided him, but he also wanted to be worthy of her. Fast forward 12 years to the present. Aaric now a ruthless, focused self-made tycoon. Bryn needs investment for her start-up so gets a time to see Aaric. They are both different people but their attraction is still there and stronger than ever. It's a struggle to keep things professional when they could finally take the chance that Bryn previously denied them. As a reader you really feel the push and pull as they challenge each other. Tycoon is just a great read and super hot! Katy Evans definitely accelerates the energy as things ramp up and their chemistry sizzles. With a good balance of romance, angst and some of Aaric's POV, I was riveted to the very last swipe.

This review is from: Tycoon (Kindle Edition) “ He’s the biggest what if I’ve ever had in my life. The one you always wonder about.” Katy Evans, YOU HAD ME AT THE COVER!!!!! First of all let’s talk about this cover!!!I don’t know how Katy Evans does it, but she always has stunning covers, and Tycoon is a new favourite of mine. She has managed once again, to give us a sexy and mesmerising cover that in my opinion, represents Aaric perfectly. “Everyone knows him. He’s lava.” I groan despairingly. “He’s the whole volcano.” Aaric Christos was the one who will get in trouble in High School, the one that girls like despite his background. Bryn was his friend. They shared everything – their fears, emotions and more but Bryn has always wanted to protect their friendship… and Aaric has always wanted to protect Bryn..so nothing ever happened between them. “He was always…more. More than the norm, always the first. The first you’d see in a room. The first who’d dare the dares in the parties that no one else would. The first to offer help when you needed it” Now, 30 years old Bryn and Aaric meet again. For Bryn, Aaric will always be her WHAT IF. For Aaric, Bryn will always be “ little bit”, the girl he never got to kiss. “so infinitely Aaric Christos. My what if.” He is now a rich, powerful and sexy CEO in NYC. “How the hell did a boy with an interesting face become the guy with the hottest face in the world?” After the death of her parents, Bryn decides to move to NYC to start her Startup “House of Sass”. She is determined and driven to achieve her goal but she needs funding. So when, she manages to secure an appointment with the famous CEO Aaric Christos, she didn’t expect to feel, to be attracted to the man who was once, her best friend. Will they get a second chance at love? Will Aaric help Bryn to make her dream come true? “Never expect anyone to complete you. Don’t be two halves to make a whole, be two wholes and make something more.” Tycoon is a love story that spoke to my heart and made me feel!!! The nicknames, yes the nicknames made my heart melt BIG TIME!!! For me Tycoon was a sexy, endearing and totally addictive story… It was a modern fairy-tale. Katy Evans knows how to write FANTASTIC romance. Engrossing, addictive, hot, and so very emotional. They are toe-curlingly good. “dreams come true . . . because you, Bryn, you were my own dream coming true for me.” This book is about second chances and love! I loved so many quotes in the book that I wanted to wrote all of them but I clearly was unable to ...I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys second chances romances! “Like a glass of oil is overflowing with water until the oil overflows and then it’s just the most fresh and hydrating water.” “I’m the water in your glass.”
