Paired with a Fuji Panfish Ultralight rod and SOS Trout Magnet 2lb test, I’m very happy with this reel. I was using a Shimano Sienna 500 reel previously, but wanted to upgrade to a 1000 reel with a stronger bail and more line capacity. The drag is fantastic, and you don’t have to make large adjustments to dial in the feel. I will go by 1/4 turns in or out. The bail flip is solid and gives a good “pop feedback. Lastly, the matte finish looks nice but also feels nice when handled. I’m not a fan of chrome and glossy reels. Definitely an A++. Good value considering features vs. price.

i absolutely love this spinning reel i believe that its very worth the money i have been using it for while and it has been working really good it holds a lot of line i have a green and dark green line for it and it looks really clean and nice. it works really good with almost no noise at all. its built to last a long time.

Worked for 2 months... The anti reverse is broken. Whether I click the switch or not it still goes in reverse. 30 day exchange is not long enough.
