Red OUTEMU (Gaote)Keyboard Switches

I got a dragon keyboard that is no longer offered but only came with like 4 swappable keys. This worked out great for me because it also allowed me to test out other key types to see if I would prefer a different style or customize specific keys.

I have a ProtoArc RoyalAxe R-Series keyboard that I heavily modified and use multiple types of switches for. Because I'm heavy-handed with the space-bar, and I use a metal space-bar, I needed a switch that would handle the weight of both the metal bar and my heavy typing style. These little switches did the trick. With the addition of some under-sided vibration-proofing and rubber grommets on the bar stem, my space-bar feels solid and sounds solid. Cheers!

Easy to use. I use these for crackers so the sound is great. Great value. Very durable

These work ok so far but only had them installed for a couple days. They are nice an and quiet compared to my previous clicky switches. Problem is the installation. These have very thin flimsy pins that are somewhat tricky to install without bending. About 1 in 5 had pins bend while installing so that I had to pull the switch again, straighten the pin and then reinstall. They were also poorly packaged which didn't help that situation. Wouldn't buy these again. I'll spend the extra on actual cherry switches.

My son wanted his keyboard to make loud click noises and this was perfect for him and very easy to put on. He’s 10 years old and was able to put them on by himself especially with the keyboard tool it came with.

The switches perform well. They have just the right amount of resistance for me. Value wise, they aren't bad. I had about eight switches with bent pins and I had to straighten them out and seat them a few times to get them working. Not very happy with that. Only time will tell if they fail or not because of the pins. They come in a plastic box but they are loose. My guess is they move around in shipment and get bent. The switches fit well and installing them wasn't too difficult minus needing to straighten eight pins and reseating eight switches. I'd have given five stars if the pins and seating wasn't an issue. Hopefully everything works out. Heavy but true.

Molti switch avevano i piedini piegati. Ho dovuto passare il tempo a raddrizzarli per fortuna senza che si siano rotti. Per il resto sembrano funzionare discretamente.
