All bulbs arrived in great condition none broke , both that i have installed work as and how they should , people need to remember these are not normal bulbs and gloves should be used to handle and install them , preferably wipe them down with an alcohol wipe after unpacking, the oil on skin reacts with the glass and will cause premature failure , i have no complaints about these bulbs

These bulbs appear identical to the ones that I wanted to obtain, I may have other problems with the Pentair AquaLumin II fixture they are intended to be used with. Two of the other products ordered and received are not the components that will work with the fixture I have. I may need to return all of the items on this order. the two items that will not work with the fixture I have are probably for a later model of the light fixture. More to follow later.

GREAT PRODUCT.

This halogen bulb was a perfect replacement for my kitchen light fixture. It installed easily and gives off a bright 250W soft white glow. Works flawlessly with my dimmer—no flickering—and the size was an exact match for what I needed. The price was great, replacing a SATCO model S3184 for much less. I can’t speak to longevity yet since I just put them in, but I’m hoping they last for years. Getting a five-pack for less than the cost of two SATCO bulbs made this an easy choice, and now I’ve got extras ready for the future.

It's too soon to know how long these will last in actual use at this time. However, these fit perfectly and and are nicely packaged. I have a couple of quartz-halogen work lights kits that I purchased almost twenty years ago now. They consist of a multi-piece adjustable stand with light fixtures, all in a compact carry/storage case. I used them more times than I can count and have loaned them to neighbors and friends over the years. The only problem I've had is finding replacement bulbs locally, as these are only 250 watts and not the more popular 500 watts bulbs that local suppliers usually have in stock. But I like these 250 watt units as I generally don't need the hotter bulbs and this offering from CTKcom was perfect. Each bulb is individually wrapped in a small protective plastic sleeve and inserted in an equally-sized cardstock box. The bulbs are standard sized at just over three inches in length with white ceramic ends that fit into the usual spring loaded worklight receptacles of this type. The glass filament tube is crystal clear, very well made, and the fillament itself appears to be quite sturdy. Generall speaking, failure of this type of bulb usually happens when the lamp is knocked over or falls in some matter, often breaking the bulb. These particular bulbs appear to be constructed in a manner to protect from easy breakage. One thing to note for new users, is that you should not touch the bulbs with your bare fingers, as the skin oil or dirty print on the glass tube may cause an irregular hot spot that will cause uneven thermal expansion and increasing the chance of breakage. (That has nothing to do with the quality of manufacture, it's a failure in handling of any heated bulb of this type.) Great price, well made, and a good quantiy to have in your back-up stock. Bought these because the bulbs in both my work lights were out after years use. I was surprised when I opened the package. This was not a package of five bulbs, it was 5 individual bulbs shipped in a bubble envelope. The individual bulb boxes were crushed but none of the bulbs were broken. I replaced the bulbs in both work lights. The fit fine and looked like the originals. I set both of them up to light up my current project and went to work. One of the two burned out in the first hour. When it went it actually burned a hole through the glass. I replaced that bulb again. The second one installed as easy as the first and lit up when I plugged it in. I've only used it for about 15 minutes so far. I'm interested seeing what the longevity will be. The other unit has been used for about 4 hours over a couple of days and has worked as expected so far.....we'll see how long they last.

It was getting hard to source these bulbs locally. These install easily and light well. Quality seems good. Time will tell.
