This fits perfectly under a seat in a main cabin. I have taken this bag for travels in Panama and to every other trip in the US. Perfect as a weekend bag. It is sturdy. If you are a pocket person like me, you’ll love this cuz it has so many useful pockets everywhere. The inside pockets are set up in the same way as a suitcase, so you open the bag down the middle like you would when you unzip a suitcase. This is perfect for when I get stopped or searched at TSA and I can nearly unzip my bag and lay it flat (I was flagged for packing too much coffee). The straps on the shoulders are sturdy and comfortable cuz they are thick and padded, but the bag doesn’t look bulky at all.

Nice backpack. I chose it as a smaller alternative for shorter trips. Of course, it's easy to try and put too much in it, but it handles stuffing pretty well. I like most of the features and compartments. Carries well by hand and using as a backpack. Only wish the clips for the shoulder straps were a bit easier to open.

Nice bag, does the job for a 2 day carry on. But, I wish they would have put a drink holder on the outside and just as important compression straps on inside to hold down clothes. I pack tight but close always seem to sag towards the bottom. 2 1/2 to 3 stars is a fair rating.

This was gift for my son. He used it on his recent trip to japan. It held everything he needed for a 10 day trip. It fit in overhead bin on flight over and was easy to carry on the trains he took to get around Japan. He is a University of Florida student and when he returned to campus he took this backpack to replace the one he had been using. This was a great buy.

This is the best backpack / bag I have found for traveling. It is the perfect dimensions to work as a personal item to not get charged a carry-on and it opens up like a suitcase to store all your clothes perfectly.

After reading numerous positive reviews, I bought this bag specifically to go under the seat while traveling on airplanes this last week. It worked great. My son was able to pack the clothes and other items he needed for our week-long trip and had plenty of room for extras in the backpack for the return trip. It fit perfectly under the seats of both the American Airlines Airbus and the 737-800 planes without any problems whatsoever. In fact, while we were loading onto the 737-800, all overhead bays became full pretty quickly so all carry on luggage except personal items had to be checked at the gate. Neither the gate agent nor the flight attendants questioned this bag's ability to be stowed under the seat and let my son board with his backpack. It held up great against the typical abuse from a teenager: dropped, kicked, chunked on the couch, etc., and all straps and zippers are still in working condition.

I used this a as carry on for a recent week long trip to Alaska. I wasn't sure if I should get the 38L or the 28L so I decided on the smaller. I should have ordered the 38L. It was smaller than I expected but tghat was my fault, It did come with dimensions! It did fit the bill perfectly otherwise. Easy to carry as there are several handles and straps to use. One big draw was being able to use it as a backpack if needed. The straps conveniently stow away, great option! I am unsure of durability but so far, so good.

Love this bag a lot. Really fits a large amount of items, I packed enough for a 6 day trip and easily brought it on as a carry on with United. The style is also really cool and I can tell it is made of high quality and will last me a very long time.

This is a great backpack. Fits plenty of clothes, can hold 3 full outfits including shoes. The backpack straps aren't the most comfortable but there plenty of pockets & zippers making it convenient for travel. I was able to use this backpack as a personal item in addition to a rolling carry on (passed with Alaska airlines & Air Canada) since it can fit under your seat. The material is not waterproof so don't use it in the rain without a nylon cover. Great bag overall

Great bag for a weekend getaway. The backpack was bigger than expected. Wished it had an outside pocket to carry a small umbrella or water bottle. But that's my preference. Great bag that can be carried as a backpack or cross body.

We returned this use to the size our son needed but it was well made, good price and nice design. The straps were comfortable for longer use I thought. Would be great weekend or Carry On piece
