This is the BEST phone case EVER! I have gotten several cases for several phones as I'm sure many of you have. While walking on a concrete parking lot I lost my grip on my phone (an S8+). All glass! I then tried to catch my falling phone, only to succeed in actually swattlng the doomed phone to the concrete. It dropped HARD from about 4' high. I only had a tiny scuff on the case that brushed right off. The phone slammed on the corner, then bounced face down. At that point, I knew if the phone still worked I would be calling 911 in response to the heart attack I was having ! But, NO! I picked up the phone and it was still perfect! Thanks to this AMAZING phone case! The material is very strong, comfortable to hold, not a bulky military version and ABOVE ALL, a phone and life saver. I have literally shattered other pricey cases, but this one was definately the winner by far. STRENGTH, beauty, so easy to put on. You get it all! Also, some reviews stated the plastic screen cover scratched easy. Not so! Sure, a child scribbling on it with a fork could do it, but a little care, and I've found no scratches in a months time (even after that slam-drop! ) Fingerprints can show if you've been eating potatoe chips for example. A soft cloth is all it takes to wipe the cover off. Touch is extremely easy with no adjustment to sensitivity needed. Last but not least: I would have busted up a $1000 phone if it wasn't in this l-blaison case. You will be extremely happy with it! I don't trust reviews that are just dropping with positives. (Yet, here is one) and I'm not sorry. I speak the truth. I am paid by Nobody for my review. If you truly want to save your phone from a "slam" into the concrete, hang tight to your phone... BUT if that fails you'd better have this case on it. Seriously, it's a winner. Get this case and you'll also be a winner (by saving your phone).

Wow. I am VERY impressed with this case! I am very hard to please when it comes to cell phone cases. I want simple but functional, slim but protective, durable but not bulky, quality but not expensive. This case delivered in every one of those aspects. I've never heard of the brand before but it's obvious they did their homework on this case. There is obviously a good amount of design that went into it and its very thought out. It arrived in a simple cardboard box but well packaged and protected inside. I purchased this case for 3 main reasons: built in screen protector, reviews, and the fit. It is a dual layer case with rubberized outer shell. The phone actually snaps into the front of the case first, then into the back shell, I've never seen a case like this before. The buttons are very recessed into the front part of the case but the rubber back has extensions that reach into the buttons. I've seen this style before and it works very well in this case. They feel nearly identical as with no case on at all. The covers for the charging port and headphone jack fit nicely however are a little stiff. I hope they don't break off over time but I rarely use either of those ports. The fit around the unique curved screen of the S8 is very good. I was concerned about the feel of a case around the edge of the screen but it feels good and does not inhibit swiping or the edge menus. Access to the fingerprint scanner is also very good and better than my last case. The clear back shows off the phone very nicely, most cases cover it up. I'm sure the plastic will scratch on the back eventually but its bound to happen. The final fit and finish of this case is excellent. No gaps around the edge, cutouts line up perfectly, its comfortable to hold, and looks great at the same time. I'm very surprised about how much I like it, could possibly be the best case I've ever had on any phone. I may be buying their cases for my other devices as well!

This case is excellent case and if it can protect the bubble baby of a phone S8, then that tells you something! I can't tell you how many phones I have broken in the past and this case saved me alot of headache and walletache. My son loves to grab my phone and of course isn't happy to return it when asked, resulting in him usually throwing the phone. This phone has survived several trips across the room from a 2 year old and multiple clumsy drops from myself. The design is sleek and it was easy to install. I have noticed where other people's phones don't want to connect to wireless chargers, but this case allows that ability with no issues. I got tired of paying all that money for OtterBox's and Lifeproof cases. This case does just as good as the expensive brands do, if not better. The buttons are very responsive, match up perfectly and the ports open and close with ease. The only complaint is that if you throw your phone in the pocket with some keys, it's probably going to scratch the screen protector up (although you won't notice the scratches when the screen is lit up). To remedy the scratch issue, take better care of your case. This phone has has paid for itself many times over, thank you i-Blason!

I’ve been using this i-Blason Ares full-body case on my Samsung Galaxy S8+ and overall it’s a solid protective case. The rugged design feels sturdy and provides good protection against drops and everyday wear. I like that the clear back shows the phone while still offering strong bumper protection. The built-in screen protector is convenient and adds extra peace of mind without needing a separate one. The only downside is that the case adds some bulk and the screen protector slightly reduces touch sensitivity at times. Other than that, it fits well and does its job. Overall, it’s a good case if you want strong protection with a clean look.

I just got the S8+ and was looking for a case with a built in screen protector. I've used i-Blason cases before and have been happy with them, and this is the only one I could find with a decent built in screen protector. Not really a fan of the clear plastic back, but I figured I could live with it in order to have the added front protection. Conveniently, the case arrived the same day I got my phone. It was easy to put on and felt pretty good in my hand, but I really didn't like the back of it. I decided it would be fine for now, so I left it on and kept searching for other cases with the features I wanted. After doing research and learning many people don't even use a screen protector, I found this case: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XGWRLTD/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I've got Unicorn Beetle cases on two of my tablets and I really like the solid feel of them. I was uncertain about the lack of front protection but the price was right so I went ahead with the purchase. Long story short, I put the phone with the I-Blason case in the holster for the Unicorn Beetle and it fit...so my wheels started turning and, just for grins, I popped the phone out of the clear plastic backing of the I-Blason case, replaced the backing with the solid back shell of the Beetle case...and viola! It fit perfectly! By combining the best features of these two really good cases, I now have the perfect case. I'm super picky and very protective of my gadgets so I'm very happy I played Frankenstein and merged the two. It feels solid in my hand and the screen protector is aces high. It does not interfere with the beauty of the screen at all, and I have not seen any problem with the touch sensitivity at all. Sound from the speaker is a little echo-y, but that doesn't bother me as I rarely use the speaker anyway. I don't have a wireless charger so I'm not sure it would work through this case, but if I get one I'll update this review. The shell of the Beetle case fits perfectly around the screen protector front of the i-Blason, no gaps at all. Too bad I had to buy two different cases to get what I wanted, but the cost is negligible compared to the cost of my phone. If you don't care about the clear plastic back, there's nothing wrong with this i-Blason case. If you prefer a more solid feel, do what I did and you'll be happy.

This case is AWESOME. If you're looking for something that will, above all else, protect your phone, this is it. It's sturdy, hardy, durable. I've dropped my phone a couple of times since I got the case and it did zero damage. I also love the look of it! Such a nice blue. :) There are a few cons that you might want to keep in mind, though--these don't much matter to me, but they might to you. 1. One, this thing is BULKY. It seriously adds a not insignificant amount of size and bulk to your phone. There's a reason it's so safe, and that is a thick border layer around the edges of the phone protecting it from everything. 2. Two, once the case is on the phone, it's actually pretty difficult to take off. That thing is, like, vacuum sealed in there. 3. Three, since the back of the case has a clear part, you're going to see all your fingerprints and dirt marks at all times...there was a while where I could see that I hadn't fully cleaned a spot on the phone, but it was under the case, and the case takes effort to take off, so I just had this tiny dirt spot staring me down. 4. And four, while your phone is going to be in a perfect bubble of protection, the front of the case itself WILL scuff. I'm very careful with my phones, but just from it being put into and taken out of my purse over and over, there's several scuff marks. These don't impede your ability to see the screen at all, but they're definitely visible. So overall, amazing case, does what it should! Just keep those things in mind.

**See updates, review changed. I just received this yesterday, but so far it's fantastic! I previously had an Otterbox Symmetry and an expensive screen protector, both if which were a waste of money. Anyhow, this one, I love. It fits the phone so firmly and snugly. The front and back covers feel good and solid. They're smooth, but not too slippery, which is a problem I had with the Symmetry. So far no scratches. Fingerprints wipe away easily. I've not heard anyone say I'm echoing. All in all, my perception is that it's well made and a quality case, especially for the price. **Update 3/30/18 - I dropped my phone from about 4 feet off the ground. Not a bit of damage on the case. I have no scratches on either the front or the back cover, although I try to make sure it isn't up against anything that would scratch it. I'm downgrading my rating from a 5 to a 4. There is this weird spot on the front screen that is like an oil slick colored sort of blob that I didn't notice for a couple of days after I put it on, because it can only be seen at an angle, in certain lights, or when I'm wearing my polarized sunglasses. It's definitely not caused by any debris, material, or liquid, it's some kind of defect. A bit annoying. Other than that, this is a great case, especially for the price! I wish the outer ring part was offered in more colors though. **Update 4/12/18 - scratched up the wazoo. I breathe on it and it gets scratched. I need a screen protector for the case, and I'm really careful about that, too. The only colored blob really bothers me, too. In certain lighting I can't see a quarter of the screen. Still a solid case though, I'm just a bit disappointed.

It has been difficult to find a fully functional, non-bulky, nice looking case for my Samsung Galaxy S8+ that will fit in my front pant pocket. I was not familiar with the i-Blason brand. I had to replace my watertight Lifeproof case because the side buttons did not work well and the case power-button eventually broke loose. I was also a long time user of Otterbox cases, but they started leaving off the clear plastic front cover that protects the glass. However, Otterbox and Lifeproof have great tech support, so it was sad to have to leave them. This i-Blason case did not have all 5-star reviews and I read them all. I decided to take a chance. I am a Forensic Electrical Engineer living in TN and I investigate problems for a living. Poor manufacturing techniques, poor design, incorrect installation or use, and failures due to a lack of proper maintenance are examples. I purchased the i-Blason case with the blue trim. It looks great, fantastic case buttons, raised corner bumpers, and tight fitting rubber on all sides. There are two additional features that I did not expect to work on the phone with anybody's case and they work great with this case. First, is the edge alphabet used for phone directory scrolling. It works almost as good as scrolling with the bare phone. The second is wireless charging. This feature works without any issues due to no hard rubber between the back of the phone and the desktop charging plate. The back of the phone is covered with a clear plastic like the front. I very much like this case. I have not dropped my phone yet, so I can not speak for shock resistance. I did, however, drive over my old phone with an Otterbox case with the front tire of my van and both the case and my phone survived. The Lifeproof case is waterproof. This case is not waterproof. There are dedicated openings in the case that are not covered, mike and speaker for example. My case is new, I have not setup the fingerprint reader yet since that was not previously available with my other cases.

**UPDATE** About 8 months of use later, and still a great case and protector. A couple key things to point out. First is that the cutouts for the cameras and sensors will allow moisture behind the protector. Not that it's a huge deal, cause the phone is IP68, but I got sweat in behind there when I bent over and the gym to change a song. I had to take the case apart to wipe it out. Second is that, I take very good care of my phone. I make sure not to put the front screen protector against anything hard.... but it's inevitable that because this screen protector is plastic, it has minor scratches on it.... it's not bad by any means but it would be nice if this company allowed you to buy a REPLACEMENT front only, as the rest of the case is still in great shape. Last point is almost the same as the first...but more annoying. Those cutouts for the camera and sensors..... allow DUST and DIRT behind the screen protector. I am often (once a week) taking the whole case apart to clean in behind it. Overall.... still VERY satisfied and would totally recommend this case, which I have to a few family members. By far the best case I have ever had in the phone. For $28(CAN) it is well worth the money. He'll, for $60 it would be worth it. The fit is precise. And the case is quite stylish. The main question here is...... Does the touch screen work properly with the plastic screen cover? YES. It works perfectly. Just as good as any glass screen protector..... As if it doesn't have anything there. None of the sensors or speakers are covered, so no the case isn't waterproof. But if you have an IP68 phone..... And want a waterproof case, you need to question your life. Lol Addition:. Only thing I wish would change about this case is the back.... As you can see in the pictures, 85% of the back of the case is comprised of the same plastic material that is used for the screen.... I have questions about the durability. It would have been nicer to see the same black rubber that is on the sides, used all over the back.....

Llego al dia siguiente, estoy satisfecho con el producto, de muy buena calidad y mantiene mi equipo bien protegido, fácil de instalar, la funda no le resta sensibilidad al touch, pensé que con la funda perdería un poco de sensibilidad pero no, responde igual que sin la funda, lo que si es que ya no se ve la pantalla curva, eso si, le resta brillo a la pantalla, no demasiado pero si se ve la diferencia, pierde estética y se ve robusto el celular, pero es algo que hay que sacrificar por mantener el equipo seguro, cumple completamente con la protección de el equipo, es muy completa la protección, se siente muy bien al tacto el material del que está hecho, si lo recomiendo ampliamente, incluso mi esposa quiere uno igual para su s9+, se lo voy a comprar por que si vale la pena.

I'm writing this review a little late as I've purchased this case a while back, but I have had time to live with it. I bought this to replace another case that I didn't like for my phone and I was impressed. I ran a painting business a couple of months ago while using this and despite all the abuse (dropping from moderate heights, paint drips, dust, moisture etc) my phone underneath the case looks like I just took it out if the Samsung box. THE BEST THING a bout this case it the built in screen protector. You negate the purpose of the edge functions of the phone a little, but its a small price to pay for better protection. The dust gaurd flaps for the charging port and headphone port works perfectly. The buttons at the side of the case are sturdy and have a good responsive feel to it. I lovee the design, as it's similar to Apple's idea of always showing the brand to the back of the phone, I mean you have an almost $1000 phone, why not show it off a little. Only things holding this back is that I wish there was a protective layer over the camera lenses to the back for increased protection. The case also obstructs the finger print scanner to the back but it's still usable, you'll just have to adjust to it, I did Last it can be tricky to hold securely as the case doesn't have the best grip on your hands, but like I said you can get used to it. Also wish it had a functioning kickstand at the back but that's just me nitpicking. All in all great value, great protection, great product; it does everything you'd expect for a case to do. Not sure if there are betrer products out there for the price since this has been out a while but I highly recommend it anyway!
