TracFone Bring Your Own Phone SIM Activation Kit (3-in-1-SIM)

I ordered this last minute due to my primary phone dying unexpectedly. This 3-in-1 SIM kit was affordable ($6) and arrived in 36 hours! (thanks Amazon!) It came with 3 different carrier-card options and I chose the "Verizon" card/chip for my Tracfone Smartphone LG Rebel. *Note: my LG was only a year old but EVERYTHING about it had expired: SIM chip, minutes AND phone number--so I had to start over with it on the FLY!...and it all starts with this SIM card/chip so I was HAPPY to receive it* The SIM chip came off the card easily and I replaced the expired one in the phone. I got online at the Tracfone website and initiated a CHAT with a Representative. With their help...and a few attempts to activate it (3)...my phone was activated with a new number and minutes (FYI-I already bought at Dollar General the day before)...and I was ready to go! I was SO happy because I had been without a phone for 3 VERY long days! I used this Tracfone for 2 weeks until I had the time to replace it with a primary phone. Moral of the story: this was affordable and fast...easy to install...phone/SIM/minutes all worked PERFECTLY for my simple needs when I needed it! Works great, I have been using TracFone for years and have bought these several times before, I bought this one for my new Samsung Galaxy s25 plus. It's very easy to set up a completely new TracFone or have an existing account transferred to a new phone. It's quick and easy to use.

Nearly impossible to get the sticker off the PIN without damaging the numbers. I ruined one out of two. When I entered the PIN and other required into on their website, an alert came up saying resource not found. So I called their 800 number. Apparently they have replaced the "English-is-my-second-language" personnel with an A.I. talker. I couldn't understand the people they used to have and the A.I. guy can't understand me. He said what is the number of the phone? I don't guess you get the number until you get it working. He said text him when I have it. I can't text you because I don't have a phone that works, thanks to you!

Fast and easy without any problems this time (tracfone was really great in the past when there were problems and always restored lost minutes and then some. We were doing a 3 phone hand-me-down swap then, so they had their work cut out for em, too) I was done in under 15 minutes, which surprised me. The hardest part was just opening my galaxy S7 to put it in. I can't suggest tracfone to enough people, honestly. It's fun getting to brag that my yearly payment is $100 and my new Galaxy S7 was $200 and is all paid off. Ive had tracfone for 6-7 years now and it has been great. Never cell service issues and transfers are great. We've only used galaxy phones with transfers though (and some really old flip phones and tracfone brand touch screens) so I can't guarantee it works for all phones, but it's tried and tested on our galaxy S4 phones and galaxy S7 phones (plural because 4-person family)

easy to use, just make sure that you check with Tracfone before ordering - they do not support ALL unlocked phones. I got this one for my old phone so my husband could use it. super simple to transfer your account from one phone to another, just follow the online instructions.

I bought this product from phickey through Amazon. He is a good vendor and the product works...eventually. But I had a week's worth of problems due to THREE TracFone reps giving me incorrect information and TracFone documentation being incomplete: 1. BYOP = KYOP no matter what TracFone reps say. I was told it MUST be BYOP or it won't work for transferring existing service to a new phone. So, when the seller sent KYOP instead of BYOP I returned it. Not necessary. They are identical. You might need to make sure you get one with CDMA (not just GSM) if you want to use the Verizon network but whether you "bring" your own phone or "keep" it doesn't matter. And apparently TracFone support techs don't know that. 2. Yes, you CAN put the Verizon sim in an unlocked Nexus or Pixel cellphone you did NOT get from Verizon. Took an hour to get past that with the TracFone rep. 3. The TracFone instructions for installing the sim in the tray assumed knowledge I don't have: the sim card doesn't sit in/on the tray, it has to be fit down into a little frame that is part of the tray. Everyone else probably knows that. This is a very helpful seller so I probably could have called him for installation help but I don't do well with telephones so I looked online. I did have considerable communication with this seller, phickey, to straighten it all out, and I recommend this seller.

I like TracFone and have had it for 1 year for my 13 year old son. It all ran very smooth until he accidentally washed his phone in his shorts pocket. Unable to revive the TracFone I bought a bring your own phone package to transfer his minutes and texts to another phone. This did not go smooth, the minutes did transfer after much work and calls put in to tec support but none of the texts or data did. He is unable to text or get any data on the phone. I think the TracFone service works best on their own phones, we ran into trouble when we tried to use a different phone not from them. I am letting him use down some of the minutes and I'll probably another phone from their company because for a light use phone it's by far the best price! Update: I got it fixed, I had to do a factory reset on phone. Lots of trouble but possibly the phone was also giving us problems. It is working smoothly now and I still think TracFone is the best value for the money although they have changed their packages. It seems like you get more minutes but you have to refill more often now. I liked the 90 plans but it seems like their fasing them out. Still cheaper than other carriers in my opinion.

I bought this to try to convert my older iPhone 5C from expensive Verizon plans to TracFone. The process to do this is a little tedious due to all the numbers TracFone requires (unavoidably) to properly register it. You also have to figure out how to replace the SIM card, but YouTube showed the rather simple technique. It all worked and my old phone is now alive again. TracFone subscriptions work well for me for such low-use phones, Signal coverage seemed good.
