Butter Burst Popcorn Oil, Movie Theater Butter Oil for Machines and Stovetops, Naturally Colored with Beta Carotene, 1 Gallon

I was so happy to try this for my stove top popcorn and was surprised at how good it really is! Better than expected and makes homemade popcorn taste like it's straight from the movie theater.

Go through it very fast but taste good and makes very good popcorn

This is the second time getting this. I love it and am sooo addicted to making popcorn in my Whirlypop with this. It will always be in my cupboard

It is oil that is mildly butter flavored. The butter flavor has an artificial like quality. If you like movie theater popcorn, you might enjoy this product. I find it best as a popping oil. I have to use quite a bit to get a buttery colored popcorn. I use up to 1/3 of a cup in a whirley pop with 1/2 cup kernels and 3/4 teaspoon of flavacol popcorn salt. The result is very similar to typical movie theater popcorn with that mild artificial butter flavor and aroma that people seem to enjoy. For the best popcorn, I would suggest tossing popped corn with real melted butter as well. This will enhance the butter flavor. This product is not great when added to already popped corn, the flavor is not like butter in any way and is very oily. I would recommend using this product as a popping oil in a larger quantity than you might think and finishing the popped corn with melted butter.

Alright maybe not the healthiest stuff to eat but it enhanced the flavor.

I originally bought Dutchman's flavored coconut popcorn oil and it was great. I decided to try Snappy butter burst oil and it has turned out pretty good too; since I bought an entire gallon, I believe it will last me a while. I will probably stick with it in the future. It is not coconut oil, but it is nicely flavored and does the trick.

A little expensive, but lasts myself many a popcorn serving, for the small amount I use (it just depends how buttery you want your popcorn as to how fast you’ll use up the jug)…I like what it offers to the corn popping…

I traditionally have used the butter bars, or jars of solid coconut oil, but decided to try this. By volume, this is far cheaper and easier to use. The flavour is good, adding another layer of buttery taste to the popcorn. However, I have found that this leaves a residue on the bottom of my popper, which does get a stale oil scent if not cleaned right away. I am using the same amount of oil as I did when I used a solid product, but perhaps I need to use less to avoid the stickiness I have found after use.
