Nelson-Rigg Hurricane Dry Duffle Bags

Very spacious and the straps that are included were a breeze to use and strap the bag down on the bike. Was a bit nervous it would be too big but it fit perfectly on my backseat. I have a VStar 950 Touring with the hard bags and it barely hangs over the passenger seat. I have yet to use mine on the road, I did test the bag buy stuffing it with some camping equipment. I do not have ultralight gear just your regular stuff from Walmart so it’s pretty bulky and I stuffed a sleeping bag, tent, and a 30l Daybag full of camp gear inside with more room to add, it just comes down to how you pack it down. The inflatable mattress was too long to fit inside but I found it was possible to use the synch straps to hold the mattress on top also.

Upon delivery I noted that one of the Rigg straps had a manufacturing/waving defect. I emailed Nelson Riggs customer service about this, and was immediately send a replacement set. The 40l duffel bag from Nelson Rigg is the perfect size for a camping trip and mounts really well on my Honda NX500.

This bag is amazing. It is very durable and easy to use. I have used it for a ride from KY to Key West and Ky to Sturgis SD. It still looks new despite the milage on it. I got caught in the edge of the Hurricane Helene coming home from KW and my cloths stayed dry. It is very easy to get on and off of the bike with the provided straps and it makes a pretty comfortable back rest. I would highly recommend this bag to anyone that travels on a motorcycle.

Top notch quality, slick fastening straps, very roomy inside, and waterproof. Does exactly what it’s supposed to do without costing a ton of $$$. I’m fussy, and I like it a lot for my big ADV bike. I wouldn’t recommend for smaller Dual Sport rides.

Love my Rigg gear bags. They are tough and waterproof. Been on a few trips with them now and love them.

Great bag, love the way I can pack it down in size for day trips. Keeps the dust and water out. The straps do their job, bag has stayed secured for 100s of off road miles.

Great quality, durable and very spacious, able to easily fit all my gear for motocamping. The rigg gear straps are awesome and versatile. I highly recommend this bag.

Made this choice due to water proof claim. Welded seam came apart about 3 inches on first ride ruining the waterproof I was after. Tons on straps to deal with. I wish I made a different choice. Left tons of scratches on plastics. Had it on 2025 Crf450rl.

Great waterproofing! Too bad it doesn’t have separate compartments but really works well in the rain.

The Nelson Riggs dry Bag just showed up in time for the first motorcycle trip of the year. The supplied straps that come with the bag worked great and the bag performed as advertised went thru 2 rain storm plus a lot of off road riding and the contents inside were kept perfectly dry and dust free. Love the bag

I haven’t used them yet but have fitted them empty on the top of my side cases. Fit well. Have lots of stuff to fill them and they should work really good.
