Incipio Capture Case for Microsoft Surface Pro and Surface Pro 2 (MRSF-053)

Love this thing. Some fitting issues with my surface pro (1st gen) but after some kneading it in with the fingers, it's perfect. Bought this case knowing I was sacrificing the stand, and that's just fine. Love the hand strap.

This case feels really good in my hands. The silicone has a smooth feel. But you loose the kickstand. The charger plug don't fit too well due to the thick walled case but still works. Definitely feel better about using the tablet now since I always worried about dropping it

The product is cumbersome to use as it interferes severely with heat dissipation from the unit, and may also interfere with wireless reception. Not sure about the latter. The port flaps are flimsy and prone to wear and tear from day 1. Switching out the hand puppet feature is a nightmare as you have to uninstall the whole thing and reinstall it again, which was not as advertised. And, to state the obvious it does absolutely nothing to protect the most vulnerable part of a surface tablet: the screen. Never again.

Well the handle on the back is pretty handy and overall the case does it's job. I had no issues with the camera hole casting shadows. The flap for the charger port is a bit awkward as previously noted. Many of the flaps do just that, flap around. They don't really stay in place as they should and the entire top portion of the silicon doesn't quite stay in place. The center portion never stays down, so there is an awkward bulge.

This is a great case and the removable hand strap works very well. I use my tablet for construction inspection and this case makes it very easy to walk down the site and make notes on the tablet. It's a great fit for the tablet. The only thing I would change are the flaps (covers) for the USB, power and camera. They don't stay closed. Otherwise a good solid case.

This case has openings for each port - even the micro SD card slot, but the rear camera opening is a bit small so the edges of the image are blurry and the hole for the charger is simply not long enough - after a few days of use, my screen brightness started flashing bright, dim, bright, dim. Similarly, the charging icon was flashing, indicating a bad connection to the charger. My surface pro had the same symptoms with a faulty charger. If you slightly separate one end of the charger adapter from the surface pro, you can see how the tablet responds to a poor connection. In addition, the hand strap has has elastic, so it provides too much flexibility for your hand, even if you tighten it.In short, don't buy this case unless you have a charger adapter whose cord exits the device perpendicular to the screen (as opposed to along the side of the case) or you don't mind spending an extra few minutes every day taking your tablet out of its case to charge. At least the bulky Morphie iPhone charger cases come with the adapters necessary to accommodate the headphone jack and usb interface appropriately. I would expect the same of any case whose manufacturers make any effort to make ports accessible.

Excellent product. Encase the tablet like an armored glove. Very study. The attachment for holding in hand is awesome. Lets you travel around a job site without worrying on dropping it. Definitely recommended.

This case does exactly what it is meant to do. Fits snug on the tablet. Unfortunately the case does not protect the screen, but I knew that before purchasing. My only complaint is the power cord was a little difficult to attach at first. After a while the cord forms an arch and will fit without issue. I still give the case 5 stars.
