60GB Hard Disk Drive for Xbox 360 Slim

I was one of the many who bought "Battlefield 4" without knowing that I couldn't play it on my 4GB XBOX - it needs a solid state hard drive, and can't play off of the built-in flash memory that's on the Arcade models. Needless to say, I was pretty angry (curse you, BF4 - it should say so on the front of the box in huge letters and not hidden on the back!). ANYWAY, I did a quick search and found this hard drive. Shipped with Prime, had it two days later, installed it in about thirty seconds, and got to playing. You just flip open a little compartment and slide it right into the XBOX. Couldn't be easier. Works great and have had no problems at all. Solved all of my memory needs and lets me play all of my games/music/video with ease. If you find yourself in a similar situation, this will be your end-all solution!

Haven't had any trouble with it yet. Can play the games I couldn't before because I only had a 4g HD. Just plugged this sucker in and I was good to go for Titanfall. Haven't tried any over the HD-needing games like BF3-4 or GTA V but I have been able to stop worrying about external hard drives. I say, go for it. UPDATE: For the last week or so I've been getting an error message when trying to play Titanfall saying that I need an update. Then the update fails and the system crashes. I'm afraid I may need to reformat the drive. The other issue when the game WAS working was that it would have to "Optimize HD Content" before I could play, a process which took at least 20 minutes. This didn't happen every time, but it happened almost every time. The only non-Titanfall related issue was that my xbox crashes after awhile every time I try to play a DL'd version of Bully I just purchased. I'll update again, if I resolve these issues.

We have had our son's XBox360 Slim for about 5 years now. We originally bought the "smaller gig" unit, not thinking he would use up the storage. Now that he's 9, he is playing games that require more storage. This hard drive was the PERFECT solution! We didn't have to buy a new unit, and for a small price, we have him a lot more storage space...and installation was a breeze! This mom gives a thumbs up!!

Purchased this to add some more space to my son's Xbox so he could play a couple of the games he was getting for Christmas last year, they required hard drive space. Has worked with no issues but 60gb end up being a little on the small side when you start putting games on it. Just ordered him a larger one today.

I own a xbox 360 4g and thought all games play on it, but when I got BF 4 and found out I needed harddrive I was very disappointed and thought I needed a better 360 or a harddrive that would cost me $100 and up. Went to amazon and found this 60g harddrive and was nervous about it getting it but after reading the reviews I said why not, and let me tell you what a difference in my 360!!! So simple to install and instantly your 4g is now 60G hey you can get even more G's but cost a lil more and I am on a budget so this was good enough for me, and now my BF 4 is able to play not mention need for speed the rivals game also requires it. Do yourself a favorite and if you are looking to upgrade and money is a issue this is your best option!!! And keep in mind fellow gamers be sure to check the back of the 360 games covers and check to see if harddrive is required because if it is you will need the harddrive for that game to be playable. Also now I can have more apps on my xbox and the arcade games xbox offers via without the disc it self. so much more room for your 360 to be more of a entertainment hub without worrying about space availability on your 360.

This hard disk works excellent, my son needed more space because his XBox tends to ruin disks so we decided to download his new games and ordered this hard disk. It took seconds to insert and within a couple minutes he was downloading GTA5. The download time was quick and he was playing GTA5 within a short time. He was also able to download Blackops 2 and still has enough space left for another game. I would recommend this to anyone looking for more memory for their games. Is a lot cheaper than buying the Microsoft hard disk, with this one you only pay half the price and get the same results.

I ordered this forever ago, it works. Whatever. I opened this thing up the other day and it's just a regular old Western Digital 80 gigabit laptop hard drive. I don't care so much about that but if you are pretty savvy (or can read some tutorials) I'd say get some laptop hard drive from amazon or newegg.com and a shell from here for like $5 and make a hard drive yourself.

Hello this is brandon and to review this product all you really have to say is an amazing price for a hardrive that is the same as microsoft except 3rd party it comes configuired and ready to use order time was good the only problem i have is that if you have xbox live and you want to use this there is a chance that microsoft could issue an update that renders the HDDs useless so in saying that if that does happen your going to have to buy a new one so for the money its worth the risk for me but for anyone with a xbox without live your safe and this product is completly good to use but since microsoft wants to suck up every penny for themselves they might make these useless for xbox live users so i have a transfer cable just in case with an original xbox HDD to use for storage in case this does happen so i give this Hardrive a five out of five for lots of space to put movies install arcade games add ons etc etc...
