I am revising my review of this item. It is actually quite good, especially the smaller sizes. The large size did not work for me because it moved too much as a pad above the top sheet, but the smaller ones don't have this problem. In all other respects is an excellent product. For the large size I much prefer the Hygge if you can spend a little more.

I use this with a disposable pad on top, solely to extend its use. Otherwise I’d be changing the pad daily, and I’m trying to cut down on laundry. I have used them by themselves and found them perfectly satisfactory. They absorb properly and are comfortable to lay on (the person using them is on them bare skin, so softness is important). The best thing for me are the handles. We use this pad to turn the person on their side. The person is around 300 lbs yet the pad has held up perfectly! One person on either side of the patient, one pulls the other pushes, using the handles. I honestly don’t know how I’d manage without these handled bed pads. Sure, hospitals will fold a sheet under the patient and use that to turn - grabbing a handful of sheet. The handles are much more comfortable for the caregivers. (Plus I think the ridges of a folded sheet could be uncomfortable for the patient.) I wash and hang up to dry. I’ve learned to wash them by themselves, else they pick up lint. It’s easily removed once dry though.

I purchased in 2021. Most reviews are done soon after the purchase then you never know if product continues to deliver as promised. Fast forward 5 years….I use this everyday for my invalid loved one. I use it to reposition…move her and as a mattress protector. I can’t remember how many times I have washed it (a lot). I purchased 3 and that seems to work for me (I use supplemental pads too). That being said it’s very durable (she weighs 100lbs) strong and soft to the touch (important for pressure wound prevention). It has become a very important tool for me as I am able to move her on my own without assistance from others. The four handles help with maneuvering her alone. The backing does moves rather smoothly. It’s hard to find the right tools for caregiving today and while some fail to deliver this does not. The price is reasonable…stitching is strong and after 5 years of abuse this bad boy keeps on going. I hope his helps fellow caregivers in their decision to purchase or not. Fair price made very durable and it delivers as described. PS I have not been compensated in any way.

These are good pads. Not quite as high of quality as hospital grade but they do work well and are much more economical than the hospital grade pads. I can't fault them or complain for not being as good as something three times the price. I've also tried the 4 pack of pads that were much cheaper than this one, and I found out there was good reason those were cheaper. These cost a bit more but you get what you pay for in this instance.

Like this pad more than other

Very durable and washable. A must for elderly and incontinence. If wide enough you can use it to lift patient and/or assist in turning them... A must to be used with disposable Chucks on top (puddle pads). Breathable and helps you to have bed sores ... nice weight and thickness. Get more than one so you can replace and wash, etc. This size 36X54 is wide enough for single size bed where you have extra on either end that you can use to lift and wide enough for butt coverage and a bit more.

I use this on the arm of my recliner for my cat to sit on. Very soft & durable. Wash beautifully.

This is a great product! We wash it almost daily and it is holding up well. The side handles make it so easy to help adjust your loved one. We are so happy with this purchase!

I cannot stress enough that IT IS WATERPROOF. So keep in mind water rolls off if there is a large volume. Watch the video for more. Really big size so I can be sure if she falls asleep on my bed, even if she rolls a little she is still on the pad. I took a photo with my tv remote for scale. I have a queen bed. It takes up more than halfway across and about halfway from top to bottom. This is not small by any means. The quality feels great.
