Realm Waxed Cord Cotton - Bracelets, Necklaces, Jewellery Thread, Shamballa Macrame (2mm Black - 5m)

Good quality waxed string. Initially ordered the 1mm, but was too thin, so returned it (easy) and ordered the 2mm, which is exactly what I wanted and expected for a necklace (pictured). Seems most people complaining in the reviews aren't reading the description. If you ordered 5m, why would you expect to receive a whole spool?? The pictures don't help, but it's very clear from the title what you're ordering. 5m comes in a little plastic pack, rolled up.

I purchased this cord to wrap an axe handle as part of a fancy dress costume. Firstly the cord doesn't arrive on a spool as shown in the picture and it's an offcut to the length purchased. Not a huge issue just different to shown on the advert. That said the cord it's self is very good quality. It's nice and strong and very robust for a multitude of uses. The brown is a very nice dark colour and blends in nicely given a good aesthetical appearance. Its pretty easy to cut to the desired length, I found that a flame to the end of the cut helps prevent the end from fraying. On a plus I had enough left over to make a nice rustic looking bracelet. Overall, a good product at a fair price.

I was happy to order this as from the image it looked perfect. However I was expecting a spool containing 5m. I received 2bags of coiled cord. If you don't sell the 5mon the spool, put up pics of how your customers receive it. Coiled in a bag. Helps with clarity before buying. Not everyone reads entire descriptions as they usually arnt very specific. I've not used yet, but I will update once I do. Edit to add update Wax is very minimal, cannot be physically detected. Cord is very thin(0.5mm) which I ordered, but it breaks when tying into square knots. Good to practise on but not for final items. Ends fray when trying to thread beads, so I dipped in UVresin to stiffen. Overall it was reasonably priced but quality is poor. As I said practice knots but not finished items

I would say this is about 1mettrlong. Certainly not enough for going around a large reel as seen on the came i’m in a tiny plastic bag about 3 inches X2 inches and very very thin like a strand of wool not sturdy. Highly misleading. Bit of a rip off really
