Good hand support for nighttime
I developed pregnancy-related carpal tunnel syndrome in both hands. I debated between purchasing the ACE Night Wrist Sleep Support (which was recommended in a "best of" list of carpal tunnel arm supports) and the ComfyBrace (because of the large number of reviews (10x as many as for the ACE brace), many of them positive). I went ahead and bought one of each and tried them on both hands. Short story - I think the ACE brace feels like a better quality product and provides more support. It's $2 more expensive, but I would probably buy another ACE brace rather than the ComfyBrace. Both the ComfyBrace and the ACE brace have fundamentally the same design. They both have a sleeve you put your hand through, with thumb holes on each side of the sleeve so that the sleeve can be worn on either hand. The sleeve covers your palm and extends maybe a third of the way up your forearm. There is some padding along the inside of the forearm and wrist, and then there is a pouch or sac of cushioning (think small pellets, akin to what goes into a bean bag) that is supposed to fit into the palm, to support your palm and your fingers in a "natural" curve. There is also a strip of stiff material sewn into the sleeve that runs down the palm and the length of your wrist and forearm to stabilize your arm. Both braces then have a wrap with three tabs (one at the top of the palm, one around your wrist, and one at the forearm) that allow you to adjust how snugly the sleeve fits. I think the problem with the ComfyBrace is that the pouch/sac that is supposed to fit into your hand is 1) smaller than the equivalent in the ACE brace; and 2) more loosely filled, so it's thinner and flattens out a bit too much when you set the tabs for the wrap. Wearing the two braces side by side, the ComfyBrace just didn't feel as supportive as the ACE Brace because there wasn't as much cushion for the hand. I felt compelled to tighten the tabs on the ComfyBrace to get the same feeling of support, but perversely, this ended up flattening the pouch, and a lot of the supportive cushioning got squished out to the side, away from my thumb. In addition, the materials used in the ACE brace feel a little higher quality - the fabrics feel a little less flimsy and the pellets in the cushion for the palm are smaller, so in addition to the palm cushion being larger than the equivalent in the ComfyBrace, it's also firmer and provides more support. YMMV - I've certainly seen some reviews complaining that the ACE brace is bulky. One person's supportive is another person's own bulky, I guess. In fact, I tried wearing both braces on each hand on different nights, and on the night I tried the ComfyBrace on my right hand (which has worse symptoms), I ended up having to swap the braces and give my right hand the ACE Brace. My right hand was falling asleep with the ComfyBrace on, but this problem stopped once I switched to the ACE Brace. My left hand isn't as bad as the right, and the ComfyBrace has helped on the left. All in all, the ComfyBrace probably would work for someone with relatively small hands (my own hands are 7.5" around the knuckles), or someone who doesn't have very severe carpal tunnel syndrome. But I think anyone with larger hands or a worse case of carpal tunnel would probably feel better with the ACE Brace. In addition, FWIW, I've found that while the braces do help at night, they don't get rid of my carpal tunnel symptoms during the day. This is my first time dealing with carpal tunnel, so I thought (perhaps naively) that wearing nighttime braces would address the problem entirely or at least reduce daytime symptoms as well as nighttime symptoms. They mostly help with nighttime problems (for me, it's my hands feeling like they were falling asleep), and certainly my hands look less puffy in the mornings than they used to, before I started wearing the braces. But I still have grip problems during the day, which I assume either need to be treated with a daytime brace (neither the nighttime ComfyBrace nor ACE brace is really compatible with daytime activities), or they will hopefully go away once I'm done being pregnant.

Absolutely incredible
This is my 5th kind of hand brace and it saved me from having surgery for carpal tunel syndrome. After not even a month of wearing it at night, the numbness is completely gone. I highly recommend as it is the only design that covers the palm all the way and the cushioning protects the actual nerves. It was recommended by my physical therapist and did not believe her at first. I had to waste my time trying other models that did not work and made the matter worse until I decided to go for the one she recommended and actually solve my problem. I still wear it at night preventively because it stops me from bending the hand at the wrist and sleeping on it like that. Update, 1 year after purchase -> March 2025 to May 2026: Best brace ever. I wear it every night and still keeps me from needing surgery on my hand. It seems indestructible because it looks like new after literally wearing it every single night for over a year. I highly recommend this product. I wanted to come back and update my review after a year because I feel so grateful to the company who designed and produced such an incredibly useful and high quality product.

Amazing Night Wrist Support Brace
My wrist was burning along with my fingers and my fingers were going numb in the middle of the night due to carpal tunnel. I couldn’t sleep at all. Then I found this wrist brace and it is so comfortable. I’m able to sleep with it. And the burning stopped immediately. It’s very durable and you can wash it. There is a soft bean bag type section that goes over the metal bar so you don’t feel anything but comfort! I definitely recommend this night wrist support. I also use it during the day.

Helped tremendously!
This product has helped my carpal tunnel tremendously! The difference between this one and a daytime brace is that this one is padded and longer to prevent your wrist and your fingers from bending and folding. It’s made to be more comfortable do that you can sleep. My only issue is that the Velcro on mine, that allows you to adjust the fit, stopped clinging well. I’m a light sleeper and occasionally would hear the Velcro ripping sound if I turned over or something. So a stronger Velcro would be nice. That’s why I gave it a 4 star. But I still highly recommend it and you will notice an improvement in your pain level within the first night.

Saved my bacon
The velcro on my previous wrist brace wore out, so I went looking for a new one. *This brace was a major upgrade, and well worth the cost.* Waking up with my hand completely numb from carpal tunnel was extremely distressing, and I worried about lasting nerve damage from allowing that to continue. I bought this with urgency after my previous one kept falling off in the night, seeking something with more support than options with just the metal splint. It's like the cadillac of wrist braces. The material feels durable, thick, and high quality. The inner bead-filled pillows are pleasantly dense, as they should be, and supported my wrist perfectly. When I went to sleep wearing this, I never woke up with numbness. It's reversible too, so it works with both sides! If you have similar needs, I cannot recommend this brace more highly. 《 100% human review ˙ᵕ˙ 》

It works!
I developed horrible nocturnal carpal tunnel after a lot of hand/wrist over-use during a cross-country move (too much crunching up packing paper and bubble wrap). It was a terrible, agonizing, searing pain shooting from my fingers to my elbow, plus numbness and swelling that was so painful, I almost went to the ER. After figuring out what was wrong with me, I decided to buy this brace to wear to bed and have been wearing it for about 3 weeks now, only at night. Man, had this helped! No more horrendous pain, no more numbness, no more swelling. I do wake up with my hand slightly stiff and sore from being in one position for hours but it wears off after a couple minutes of stretching and moving and is nothing compared to the horrific pain I was in before. HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you are suffering from carpal tunnel, particularly after sleeping. Thus really does help rest and heal your median nerve.

No more pain at night.
This The wrist brace fit my right hand good. I had to close up the left thumb hole because the cushioning kept coming out of it but even with that little issue it has been the best purchase I have made. I have not been woken up from pain and numbness since I started wearing it. It’s easy to put on before bed. It’s also very comfortable and seems to hold up well after washing it.

I love these
I have issues with my wrists. If I don't wear these at night I cramping in my forearms that hurts like hell. I have been using these for years now. They are comfortable and last a good long time. They are washable but the palm cusion stuff wears down the more you wash them. I usually get about a year use before I order more. They are the best thing I have ever found for my wrist issues at night. I promise, you'll love them.

Works Great
My husband is a painter and has sore wrists often. He's been working 7 days a week and he noticed that his pain significantly reduced from wearing the guards when he sleeps. As before the guards he would notice the burning in his wrist that would happen after a 5 day work week. That extra support so you don't bend your wrists at night truly made a difference for him. He wears one on each hand but it is definitely worth the investment.

Item received not new
I received the product but it seems that it is not new. The product packaging is open and the splint seems to be used before
