Best EDC knife I’ve ever had
I am in love with this knife! It looks great. Has a nice blade that really holds an edges and is sharp right out of the box. Civivi even put ceramic bearings on this so it opens and closes butter smooth! Don’t let the low price fool you: this is a quality product at a bargain price. As a true EDC, not a shoe knife, this is phenomenal!

Great Knife that activates with ease and grace!
VERY HANDY KNIFE. This knife looks great and works great. One of the many facets that I appreciate is how easy I can get it out of my pocket and into my hand fully open and ready to go in a blink of an eye. Its opening can be so quick and graceful. This is great when my other hand is busy and also great when in gnarly neighborhoods when safety equals quickness. I usually buy 'Buck' knives and I believe the steel/blade is definitely superior to Civivi however the Civivi is simply more convenient!

Perfect Everyday Carry
The CIVIVI Praxis Folding Pocket Knife represents a perfect balance of design, functionality, and affordability for knife enthusiasts and everyday carry (EDC) users. The wood darkened over time and --- I love it. Please note: The pocket clip on mine fell off after about a year. I really didn’t use it so -- it wasn’t a big deal for me. Key Features: • 3.75" blade length • Flipper deployment mechanism • Liner lock design • High-quality blade steel • Ergonomic handle construction • Compact and lightweight Pros: • Smooth, lightning-fast flipper action • Excellent blade steel with good edge retention • Comfortable, well-designed handle • Discrete yet robust design • Exceptional value for the price point • Versatile for multiple tasks • Attractive aesthetics Cons: • Clip falls off over time • Might be slightly large for minimalist EDC preferences • Requires periodic maintenance to keep optimal edge • Clip positioning could be improved for some users Performance: SUPER FAST. The Praxis opens with remarkable smoothness, thanks to its well-tuned flipper mechanism. The blade deploys quickly and locks firmly, providing confidence in its structural integrity. Whether you're opening packages, cutting cordage, or performing light outdoor tasks, this knife handles great. Build Quality: CIVIVI has established a reputation for delivering high-quality knives at accessible prices, and the Praxis continues this tradition. The materials feel premium, with attention to detail evident in every aspect of the knife's construction. Blade and Steel: The blade steel provides an excellent balance between edge retention, corrosion resistance, and ease of sharpening. It's versatile enough for everyday tasks while maintaining a sharp edge. Final Thoughts: The CIVIVI Praxis is more than just a knife—it's a testament to thoughtful design and quality craftsmanship. It offers professional-grade performance without the professional-grade price tag. A highly recommended addition to any knife collection or everyday carry setup.

Who is still buying $200 knives???
I was looking to upgrade my knife collection and settled on this CVIVI Praxis. A full size blade and wood version. My life is better is all I can say. This thing is amazing, has a great flipping mechanism with either a detent or magnet holding it shut. With just a bit of finger force the blade flies open. Perfect engineering. It feels great in hand and enjoying the full size blade too! I was reluctant as I normally carry a smaller 3" blade. I enjoy the carry experience knowing I have this beauty at the ready. In short, for the $50 price point, this has to be the best quality, prettiest and most functional knife I've ever owned.

Great knife for under $50
Not a perfect knife but a very good one for under $50. Keeps an edge well, actually abuse this cutting up wisteria runners (roots) and other stuff on the daily for half a year already and just one tiny spot. Only downside is it is kinda easy to hurt the special finish on it as I did whenever my hand slipped using a wet rock.

CIVIVI Praxis Flipper First Impressions
Out of the box, this is a very well designed EDC knife that is simple and elegant. It fits my large hands comfortably and is discreet in the pocket. The finish is excellent, components are tight, and the blade is very sharp. It is not expensive, not heavy, and for everyday carry it is my choice.

A Good Knife with a Critical Flaw
I like the overall design, the size, and the blade dimensions. The weight feels just right in hand. I also appreciate the smooth handle, which makes it easy to slip in and out of my pocket quickly. However, there’s one major drawback—it consistently fails the "whack test." The whack test, a common method used by knife enthusiasts, involves delivering a sharp, snappy impact to the dull side of the blade to see if it remains locked in place. If the blade fails, it folds back toward the handle, potentially placing the user's fingers at risk. Needless to say, the idea of the blade snapping shut while you're gripping the handle is a serious concern. Because of this issue, I no longer carry this knife as part of my everyday carry (EDC) gear. I only use it sparingly and with extreme caution.
