COLORWING M08F Tattoo Stencil Printer Bluetooth, Wireless Thermal Transfer Machine for Skin, Small A4 Paper (Black)

I just received this printer and set it up with my M1 iMac. I installed the MacOS driver but it didn't allow me to print the usual way. It may be because the driver hasn't been updated for MacOS 13 yet. Fortunately I was able to download the free Phomemo app for iOS from the App Store. It's an iOS app but runs perfectly on M1 Mac's so I've been using that little app today (which is pretty nice!) to test out my printer. The M08F is inkless and uses special thermal paper that's a bit more plastic-y than normal printer paper. You can't write on it very well with a pen, for instance. However, the printer quality is really quite good -excellent for documents and shipping labels but also okay for BW photos- the printer is tiny and wireless, and you don't need to worry about ever seeing an ink smudge, or having to but those overpriced Canon ink cartridges. Overall this is an excellent choice for someone that doesn't need to print things very often, and just needs an effective little printer that is über portable and never needs ink. I'm going to use the heck out of mine and hope that these thermal printers become more common!

Pros: This printer is very convenient to use. It doesn’t require ink and you can print anywhere, anytime, which is great when you’re traveling and do not have access to a printer. You have to use the app via bluetooth but it’s easy to navigate. Cons: This prints on A4 (8.27X11.69in) thermal paper, regular US Letter (8.5x11in) paper will not work. The thermal paper provided also tells you which way to put in the printer since this prints single sided only. Depending on your settings, it can print pretty slow. The print out are very clear if it’s just black and white. The colored links on my printout are lighter. The thermal paper is also thinner than what I’m used to. The thermal paper is also pricy. All in all, I’m very happy with this printer. I wish it came in color though and it is a bit pricy, but it's perfect for what I need it for.

Not sure if I got a bad unit or what, but I have tried printing onto stencil paper (with the yellow page removed and also the film behind the first sheet) multiple times with both my phone and PC. Downloaded the drivers from their website and it STILL does not function. Either prints halfway, or not at all. Feeds the paper and then stops a quarter of the way through the machine. Unfortunate.

I like the portability of this printer. It is well made and it’s sturdy. Once the Phomemo app is installed and connected to the printer, it is ready to go. I could print a picture right out of the box. The product came with a few pieces of thermal paper, clear instructions, charger, and a velvety bag to protect the printer. If I could change something (at least on the phone app), I would make it so that I can size my photos. When I printed, the photo took a whole piece of paper, and there are no options for sizing. I would rather print a lot of small pictures on one piece of paper, rather than a giant one. Hopefully in the future, sizing will be available for this machine. Other than that, I totally recommend this brand.

Connects without issues and connects fast. Love the easy to use app and it doesn't damage the paper when loading. Hassel free and worth every cent.

Super easy to set up and learn. It’s better then other more expensive stencil printers i’ve had in the past. Prints out clean and clear tattoo stencils that are ready to use directly from the printer. I love that it’s wireless and portable, amazing quality for the price!

If they made the app for this thing more geared toward tattoo stencils or just made the app easy to accurately size things so my stencils aren’t giant or tiny it would be perfect.
