Oh my freaking Maribor! This backpack is GORGEOUS. The black on black on black is beautiful! I swear to you, my pictures DON’T DO IT JUSTICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I never write long reviews but here I go!Little bit of backstory: I’ve been on the search for a satisfactory backpack since I was in high school. I am now a Junior (almost senior) in college and have yet to find one I love.... until now!In December, I finally decided to splurge on a North Face, only to be extremely disappointed after using it. The one I got (I forget the name) has super hard straps, that have NOT softened after four months of use, and they dig into my shoulders when I use the backpack, but I had to continue to use it because it cost $80 and I couldn’t return it.THEN, about a week ago, a month before our college semester is over mind you, I saw that my friend has a backpack similar to this one, from a different company. When I saw the doctor style opening I nearly fainted! I HAD NO IDEA THEY MADE THESE KINDS OF BACKPACKS! So I immediately went on the search for one. To hell with the North Face!One of the things I hate most about backpacks are all the gazillion pockets they seem to have, and the fact that they don’t open like this Veegul backpack. I saw a few reviews on here complain about lack of inside pockets and compartments, but honestly? Y’all have every other backpack in the world to purchase with all the endless compartments you’d like. The fact that this backpack consists of one huge void to throw things into is what I love most about it!I put my 13 inch MacBook Air, a half inch binder, my Passion Planner, a pencil case, and my glasses case in there and there is still room for more. Also, I fit my 40oz water bottle on the size and when I put it on my back it was what I imagine having a cloud on your back to feel like... weightless! Okay I’m exaggerating a bit but still, best backpack ever!One thing I find odd (but it’s not a deal breaker for me) is that when you put the backpack on, the handle raises up, as I showed in the pictures.ALSO! WARNING TO PET OWNERS!!! Because of the fabric, this backpack attracts A LOT of cat/dog hair (as pictured). I can deal with it because the backpack itself is amazing and I personally don’t mind (much.... it is most definitely a con nonetheless). There’s always cat hair on all my clothes, my car seats, my couches, etc. So if you do mind it, then this backpack is not for you.Overall, I hope this company never stops manufacturing these because I have found my favorite backpack!

I am really picky about bags and have gone through about 6 different ones (including a Fjallraven Kanken) and this one has by far been the best. I recently went back to grad school and wanted something durable that could fit A LOT of stuff. I was looking for a bag that doesn't have a laptop compartment because those just tend to take up space and I already have a laptop sleeve. This fits my 13" MacBook Air, 2 large textbooks, a smaller paperback, my folder with about 30 sheets of paper, an accessories bag, a toiletry bag, my pen case, my Hobonichi Weeks, my Louis Pallas clutch AND my 32 oz. Hydroflask. There are also a few compartments not pictured (inner zip has tape flags/post its/hand cream, two front pockets hold an iphone stand/MacBook power cord/tissues/lip balm) and there is another outer side pocket that I will sometimes slip my phone or keys into. There is also a zipper in the back that you can use to access the main compartment pretty easily and I like to sometimes put my Louis close to that so I can just pull my wallet out quickly without having to take the backpack off.I LOVE the crate opening and the fact that the bag can stand up and everything is within easy reach. The straps are also nicely padded and the top handles are great if you need to grab the bag quickly. Lightweight but durable canvas that's easy to clean.Can't go wrong with this one!

I really wanted to love this backpack. It's a great price, looks stylish, grey color is beautiful and sophisticated, inner lining is nice and made it easy to see everything that was inside (unlike many backpacks and bags that are lined with dark material). However, my first irritation is that the bag seemed cut a little crooked, I doubt anyone but very detail oriented personalities (such as myself would notice), and since I really did like the backpack I decided to overlook the slight imperfection. However as time went on I realized it simply was not going to work for a busy mother of two (going on three). The main complaint I have is that the thing constantly wants to tip over, and unfortunately it wants to tip forward and not backwards (which I could have worked with). Didn't do it much at first but then over time it more and more would just not stand up on it's own. Another thing that is annoying is that almost no operation on the bag is a one-handed ordeal. Getting into the main compartment required two hands (which is actually okay), it's getting into the small compartment on the front that really needs to be easily and single-handedly maneuvered, which if there was a double zipper on that particular compartment (like there is on the top) then one-handed operation would have been a breeze. Oh well, I'll be returning for something more "functional". All that being said this is still probably a great backpack for most people. Just maybe not super picky people like myself. :)

Needed a "personal item" for a 5 day leisure trip. I didn't want to pay for luggage! This bag holds a lot. The photos of it closed have two of these large rolls of paper towels and still plenty of room for more. I easily have a dress, a top, nightgown, under clothes and personal hygiene items, as well as a set of 6 kitchen towels as a gift for my hostess packed in this bag with plenty of room to tuck my small purse inside the top.I chose the single large outer pocket that will easily hold my large charging bank, phone, tissues and a snack bar or two. Side pockets will hold a reusable water bottle - half liter size fit great. On the padded back, there is an access zipper but no pocket inside for a tablet or the like.This is well stitched and made of heavy canvas. I purchased the gray, it has a brown interior with gold zippers and brown leather detail/reinforcement patches. The zippers slide smooth and easily. I will not use the side access zipper so will use a safety pin on the inside to prevent unzipping on the outside.A nice travel bag for the price!!

I took a chance with this brand since I fell in love with the simple but amazing design. I needed a bag for my 15.6 inch laptop, but at the same time big enough to use it for other things, groceries, camping etc. It arrived today and I was even more in love with it than before. The pictures do not give it justice! There is an amazing attention to detail! The opening has metal wires inside to keep it open wide for easy access. The zippers are golden. There are accents of grass green. Front pocket is perfect for my A4 size tablet and notebooks! Simply LOVE IT! Hynes Eagle, you have my loyalty. Period.

I just received this bag today. Really good delivery timing. Bag is great and really well and true to picture. Packaging is good too. Love the material and the way it opens. The only thing I could see as a potential problem is the side zipper that is easy access into the main part of the bag. I would prefer if this was a zippered pocket instead since easy access also means it's easy acces for people with sticky fingers too. Lol. Other that. Love the bag!

I am very pleased with this backpack! I bought the all black one.It shipped in only a few days (I selected free shipping). This backpack is like my Herschel Pop Quiz backpack and my Fjallraven Kanken had a perfect baby. It has the comfort of the Herschel with the handy straps of the Fjallraven. It has a waterbottle holder on both sides, which I really like. My 500 mL Swell waterbottle easily slides in and out, so it can fit even thicker bottles if you need that. The straps are good quality and comfy, and I am so pleasantly surprised at how comfy the back is! It comes with a cute note from the company.I have 2 dogs and their hair clings onto the material, but it's nothing a lint roller or a damp cloth cant fix. :)

Bought it over a year ago as a overnight bag. After a year of my using it almost daily and torturing the poor thing by filling it as full as humanly possible on the regular, it is still kicking and looks brand new. I cannot emphasize enough how much I love this bag!

Beautiful product it arrived next day thanks amazon, however it’s too large for me, the main zipper is ackward to open and close and the material seems a little scrunched, I will return it, I will continue to search for another one.
