Dyed better than the liquid version

I dyed a pair of shorts and they came out the perfect color of blue.

No issues it worked great

I am not sure if I used this wrong or if it was the material I used but it turned my pillow case more gray looking then navy.

Rit Dye is never a disappointment. The dye reinstates my pants to their original navy blue color and they look like new. Instructions are simple. Product arrived as scheduled.

Does not last a single wash cycle. Followed instructions to the letter on cotton - came out in the first wash. Tried again….same result.

While its advertised to be Multi-Purpose I tried to dye a jacket, which hat motor oil stains, to blue I came to the realisation after recieving it that it wasnt all purpouse, it doesnt work on polyester. Yeah so I dyed it anyway and it came a light purple (the jacket was white originally) and the stains became darker. Overall a bit weird it doesnt specify it in the description that it doesnt work on some materials but hey thats life.

Product works as advertised. I've personally used it to dye t-shirts, cotton shirts and pants. Product does stick to the fabric thoroughly. But on subsequent washes you are expected to loose some of the dye as it is to be expected. Personally, price is on the high end of the scale.

Extremely pleased with this product! I've never dyed an item of clothing before, let alone and fairly expensive dress. But I thought hey! It's been sitting in the wardrobe for 9 years, and I was looking for a navy dress to wear for an upcoming wedding. I wasn't sure how it'd turn out as some of the reviews were less than satisfactory and the fabric was a mixture of cotton, polyester, viscose and nylon! I wanted to keep the 'nude' underskirt the same color, so when that didn't take I was very happy! I used the cold water hand dye method as the dress can't be machine washed and the label states cold water only. The result turned out better than I expected!
