I’ve been using this protein for a bit now and it’s honestly solid. The taste is really good (not chalky like a lot of others), and it mixes smooth with just water or milk — no clumps. It’s easy on the stomach too, which is a big plus. I noticed it helps with recovery after workouts and keeps my energy up. The isolate formula feels clean and not heavy, so it’s perfect if you’re trying to build muscle without feeling bloated. Overall, definitely worth it if you want a good quality protein that actually tastes good and does the job.

I have had both the strawberry and chocolate and I have to say that both of them are EXCELLENT with milk. Strawberry is my favorite of the two. Just keep in mind if you are watching carbs milk has 10-15 grams per 8 oz. With milk they are just both creamier and richer. ZERO aftertaste. The strawberry is just a little more pleasant mixing them with straight water. The chocolate with water has a small amount of that familiar "whey protein" taste but it still very doable. Drink it with milk and I swear it is like you are drinking a strawberry or chocolate shake. No digestion issues, doesn't feel "heavy" and almost ZERO carbs. I will be trying the vanilla soon. 5 STARS for Animal they got this RIGHT!!

Good bang for buck. Hard to beat $1.30/25g of protein. (Isopure is $1.75/serving). I do (2) 50g shakes per day, so I go through whey pretty quickly; so 44 servings of Isopure would last me (2) weeks (~$150/month). One of the Animal tubs alone lasts me nearly a month. HOWEVER, I must say the strawberry flavor is unfortunately very artificial in this one. Adding yogurt or other fruit helps, but I needed to get used to the base flavor haha. It's not "offputtingly disgusting per se", but if you can eat processed or fast food, you do get used to it. Also, it's super hard to find brands that don't use excessive thickeners; this is sadly one of them. That said, that's really just a personal thing. It mixes decently in a shaker bottle.

Tastes like strawberries! Well, it tastes like a strawberry milkshake (yummy). I’m very buff now. I think mixing it with milk is the best way to go but if you’re a water mixer person that’s fine I guess. It’s expensive but I guess it’s like the Lamborghini of protein powder.

the quality of animal whey isolate protein powder is absolutely amazing. i am verrry lactose sensitive, so i do unfortunately still experience a bit of stomach gurgles after ingesting. as long as i mix it with water it’s nothing embarrassing though. one scoop of powder has 25 grams of protein. so i drink one shake with two scoops in the AM, and i mix it with metamucil. that way, i’m getting my whole daily serving of protein in one shake along with some added fiber which keeps me full for 4-6 hours. the only thing i do not appreciate are the little strawberry chunks. i will never buy this flavor again for that. the powder itself is fine and dissolves very well. them strawberry chunks make me gag every time though.

Flavor is great, doesn’t mix well though you will at least get three big dry clumps no matter how you mix.
