Still one of the best forms of dry lubricant
I purchased this for use with my John Deere 71 planters. Graphite is added to the seed and provides lubrication to the moving parts as the seed pass thru the various measuring parts. My old box of graphite ran out this spring and neede more. I definitely didn't need a 10 lb box I used for the last 10-15 years and this was just the right size. Size of the graphite is, best I can tell, same if maybe a bit finer than what I was using so I'm very happy I found this.

Good quality and price
Best price for powdered graphite, and quality seems good for a raw material. It works well as an organic oil additive to dye the oil.

Great stuff when you are casting lead soldiers.
I have been casting lead soldiers from World War 1 and World War II along with civil war soldiers and cannons and other field equipment for many years. The standard with the molds was to hold them over a candle and coat the molds with soot from the burning candle to help the lead flow easier when casting. I read about this Graphite Powder and gave it a try. I have far less failures to flow using this than I ever did with the candle soot. You just sprinkle it on the mold, blow off the excess and the molten lead does not stick to the molds and flows just like it should. I wish I had known about this stuff years ago, it's great.

Great value great lubricant
I bet you wonder why I bought such a large container of Graphite. Well its because I mix it into hot wax and use the mixture to lubricate bike chains and it was by far the best value anywhere and should last me a long time.

Doesn’t work for Mandalorian Armor.
If you are considering buying this for Mandalorian armor 3d prints, don’t. It is a very fine powder, and works like you’d imagine, but the color is a very dark grey. I will definitely be keeping it to use for a Batman helmet in the future.

Stop pellet stove from making noise
Bought some softwood pellets for our pellet stove. Previously used hardwood pellets with no problem. After about 3 forty pound bags of softwood our pellet stove started to make a horrible noise, like farting sounds. Read about using graphite powder to lube the auger. After adding about 1tbl of graphite powder and then 1tbl with each new bag of softwood, the noise has stopped.
