LOVE this product for my kids hair. One has a faux hauk and the other has a Mohawk and it keeps the styles without being sticky or greasy. Smells really good too. Buy it two at a time so we don't run out.

Smells amazing - hold is light to medium and doesn’t flake. I wish I could find a lotion or something with the same smell. Washes out very easily, not greasy at all. Works well!

This was bought on sale. With a cheap price in consideration, this has been a great product to use. I would like slightly more hold, but what it provides with the matte look, I can't really complain. I don't use it often as I only put product when going out, but when I do, I never have shiny hair, nor desire to have my hair shine. The matte look is great for a beach/surfer style look. Hold is decent on shorter hair and havent had issues applying it evenly through my hair. I don't feel that it clumps strands together and keeps shape throughout the day, even if I'm sweaty.

I have to agree with other reviewers. I received the black cap version of this product and it's inferior to the original which I've used for over 5 years. Whatever compelled the company to change the formula doesn't really matter; this should be marketed under a different product name to avoid confusion.
