Good sharks with mouths that open
I really like these sharks they make excellent bath or pool toys we have used them in both. When you press on the fins the mouths either open or close depending on which one. 4 year old loves them. He did eventually break 2 of them by throwing them on the concrete although I can’t fault the item for that.

Kids love but….
Tail broke within a month. Might have been my kids fault, but it’s not super sturdy.

Largest shark is fragile
Update: might have fixed with dremmel, drill bits and #4 3/4inch screws?? Added more pictures. Had to destroy the tail screw portion to get our screws in but hopefully the tail stays in this time. Original post: My 3 year old loves sharks... Not cartoons sharks, but the ones that look real with teeth. Now considering we got 3 sharks for under $24 isn't a bad deal but he's had them for 3 days and the big shark has broken twice. The first was when the internal spring popped off the fin mechanism. I was able to fix that one but it was fiddly putting back together. I noticed that the tail is held to the body with a very thin insert. Sure enough the next day, the tail snapped off like other picture shown. I'm thinking I need to put a screw (maybe 2) into the tail that is skinny enough for the ready made slots... But that is just my first idea. Looking up glues and epoxies, they don't seem to be a long term solution. Too bad the tail wasn't cast with the body instead of being an additional frail piece. Overall a good value, especially if you like the smaller sharks. Unfortunately for us, my son likes the big one. Will definitely look at how many parts are on toys going forward. Hopefully they update the model and keep the fin/mouth hinge.

Was his favorite Christmas present but one broke already
The tails are attached very poorly, I wish the construction of the thing was different but it's hard to find Magalodon toys so this was my son's favorite present even over a hoover board and PUPPY!

Okish
They look ok. They are quite big which my son likes but one sharks tail was broken when we received it. I emailed the seller but have not heard back yet. You can see the big screws on the shark where they are held together etc. so not that well made. My son likes to open there mouth though. Do not think they will last long so in my opinion way overpriced.

Cute but breakable
My two year old son loved these sharks for the pool and bathtub, they are really cute and have a fun detail of the mouth opening and closing… but, after only a couple of months two of them have already broken. Not durable at all.
