Look it’s like this. Who or what is mechman some fly by night alternator maker. I run DB Power Inc Got me a new truck. Still Chevy still old. Looked at their site same alternator is how much. Is it made of gold? Ok who are these mechman ppl let me call em get a feel for them. Hmm so far great customer service. 3 week build time hmmm Are you kidding me amazon prime from droppin. Ok now I’m gonna do this And yep I’m glad I did Great product from a great company sold by a great seller backed by amazon. Done and done 14.6 at idle with 4 36inch light bars on full max ac all headlights on and hooked to a trailer and it’s lights. Cold start. Ya I’ll be just fine since stock was 110amp

I install my alternator mechman 370amp on my gmc sierra 89 I recommend this alternator

paid premium for a new alternator and received a used one
very disappointed, paid premium for a new Mechman B8206370B Alternator and received a used one and to top it all off, came with no GM 4 pin adapter to operate the Alternator and no instruction manual and worse, came with no test sheet to ensure it's not dead on arrival unit i have all supporting pictures but there's no option in Amazon to allow me to post here. now i have to go through the irritating inconvenience of returning or replacing the item.

Works great
Does what it supposed to. I did the mechman 360 amp alternator with the big 3 wire upgrade running 2 15” subs with 4500 watt amp and 2 500 watt amps with 4 6.5” subs in a h2 hummer. And I get very lil dimming from lights unless I have it cranked way up

Do your research on the plug to alternator.
Easy install.had to figure out the where the wires go on the plug on alternator.it comes with instructions but does not give you the alternator plug letters.install this on a 97 tahoe.put zero gauge wire big 3 upgrade.my voltage meter does not drop a bit. strong and power full alternator.love it
