Effective collar
I think this collar helps our dog with fleas and ticks. Seems as it looses its effectiveness after 3 months time. We’ve been using this brand for a year now and are really happy that it is non toxic and safe for our pet.

WONDERCIDE Flea Collars DON’T WORK!
I spent $40 for two of these Wondercide flea collars for my two dogs. It was a total waste of my money. These collars have had no effect at all. My dogs are inside pets but picked up fleas in our yard, possibly from the roaming stray cats. We then had our yard treated—sprayed with flea and tick insecticide once we discovered the fleas. Our home has been sprayed and vacuumed daily for any fleas, however our dogs still have fleas. They have been wearing these collars since the day the collars arrived. Our dogs are given a bath daily with flea shampoo. We can see dead fleas in the bathtub as we rinse the shampoo off the dogs. These collars DO NOT repel fleas. This has been going on nearly a month now. Our dogs are 7 and 8 years old, and we have never had a flea problem, nor have we ever given them the pesticide from the vets. Please don’t waste your money on Wondercide’s “flea repellent” collars.

Keeps ticks away!
This is one of the first flea, tick, and mosquito collars that has kept ticks off our dog! In the past we've tried other collars and our dog would still have multiple ticks. (We live in the back woods) we've tried topical tick treatments but never liked all the possible harmful side effects. Since using it we've only found 1 tick in the four months of wear making it the most effective collar we've used! We mainly got this collor to keep off ticks but the flea and mosquito repellents is an added bonus! All the ingredients in this collar are from natural of oil and no artificial colors, dyes, or fragrances. The cederwood and peppermint oil gives a nice natural smell without being over powering. Another great feature is that it's waterproof. My dogs go in water much besides when we go to the lake but I like that I don't have to take it off. You can choose from the cat or dog size depending on your pet. Your able to adjust the size of the collar to fit comfortably on your pet. Our dog is a blue heeler around 40 pounds. It could definitely fit a smaller or larger dog because of the adjustable buckle. Here the the actual measurements:dogs (up to 21" neck) and cats (up to 13" neck) I find this collar very affordable at only $19.95 and will last up to 4 months. Meaning. For only $60 a year I can keep my dog almost tick free! Definitely worth it!

Great company
I love their products but I’m not sure this one works to repel ticks. I love that it is chemical free and durable, but my dog still gets ticks. It could be that we have a lot of ticks because we live by the woods, and the collar is doing its best.

*** Update to my review BEFORE buying the collar, read the note in the description. I live in the country, I go hiking and foraging in the woods. I can not control what's in the woods, but I can what's on my property. I will give it thought to try the yard stuff for my property. If the Flea & Tick Collar isn’t repelling all the fleas or ticks, you may be in an area with high pest pressure. In these cases, Flea & Tick Pets + Home is a great added layer of protection that will do the trick. Wondercide Collar repels but doesn’t kill fleas or ticks. If you have an active flea infestation, start with a flea & Tick bath to kill the pests that are already present. Consider layering protection with Wondercide Flea & Tick Pets + Home and Flea & Tick Yard + Garden (if you have a yard) as directed. The Collar can be used on your pet while you get an infestation under control and for ongoing repellency. I'm trying to be more natural for my dogs. I've used the pills from the vet, topical, so on. I have a older bernese who had a severe reaction to those. Bumps, swollen in places, he had such a bad reaction on his face and almost scratched a hole in his cheek due to that stuff. So I'm trying to be more natural with my newest puppy. This collar doesn't fully work, not as effective. I am pulling ticks off my dog left and right.

Great product that works well
I purchased this collar for my beagle and have been very pleased with how well it works. Twice per week she goes with a local pack of other dogs on adventure trails through a variety of conditions (water, high grass, dirt, etc). There has only been twice this season in which I found a small tick on her after her adventures - one had slightly latched and the other was crawling. I used to use the Wondercide spray before her adventure trail days and found it was only temporarily effective, but, the collar is much more effective. I did use the spray, in the beginning of the season when the tick population was heavier - I used this in combination with the collar and found it helpful. But now I use the collar most exclusively. I like this more natural product and it's effectiveness so much that I have a subscription for every 3 months. The scent is also pleasant. for the collar I use peppermint, and then lemongrass for the spray.

Be cautious
Honestly I’ve bought these before and they used to work for ticks but this batch did not work at all. We are in a high tick area and we’ve been pulling 5-10 ticks off of our dog ever other day. Hopefully I just got a bad batch

Not helpful at all, save your $
I love the Wondercide Sprays and have used for over 4 years. I thought I would be on top of things and get this for my dog. This product did not work at all. It had a mild to moderate peppermint smell which I do not mind. The good smell is where it ended. I used a flea comb and thinking this actually provided some level of coverage I backed off on the daily spray or multiple time a day spray. I was so wrong to not use the spray. My dog had several, and I mean several fleas on her that I located and removed with a flea comb. One flea was actually by the collar, alive and thriving. This was the biggest waste of money and time for a purchase this year. It has caused me so much extra work to clear of fleas and I wish I had not trusted it to work. I cannot imagine selling this product and sleeping at night knowing I am just taking someone’s money who trusted me. I have used the shampoo which is great and the spray but this collar was just throwing $19.99 + tax in the garbage. Please, save your money and time and do not waste it on this. I have a female Rottweiler who weighs 94lbs. This product, a complete waste as an add-on to our regime and definitely not a replacement for the spray.
