I replace mine every 6-9 months up here in Michigan. The combination of wildfire smoke and humidity means they typically don’t last much longer before they start to smell. The activated carbon helps reduce the smell of smoke, although it doesn’t eliminate it completely. Overall, it’s a decent filter for the money and better quality than what you’ll usually find at a shop.

Cabin air filters should be changed every year - in some cases sooner depending on where you live. I know MANN is OEM quality for VW/Audi. This fit perfectly for my 2016 Audi A3 and installation took no longer than 5 minutes from start to finish. Box says 15 minutes but if you wish a needle nose plier you can remove the cover for the filter within seconds. Also, for under $20 this filter is an amazing value. I won't be using an off brand filter moving forward...

Fit my 2021 Jetta flawlessly. Dealer wanted 159.00 to R/R old cabin filter and replace with new one. When I removed old filter, the dealer had used an aftermarket product before, wasn't OEM. Took maybe 10 minutes to install. In 18 months will get another.
