7" Portable Apple Carplay and Android Auto Screen for Car, Apple CarPlay Dash Mount Car Screen with MirrorLink/Bluetooth/Navigation/Voice Control

I have a 2010 Honda Fit and this unit has made me so happy! I’ve had it over a year now and use it every time I drive, so I can say with confidence that it works exceedingly well and is a huge improvement over the TomTom device I used previously. I have not tried to use this over Bluetooth. Using the cord , I like that my phone is being charged at the same time that I’m connected to the device and I don’t want my phone to be taken over automatically by Bluetooth, I’d rather connect by cord. I don’t often use it for phone calls but it seems ok when I do although one time my husband could not hear me well at all. The other issue is that I’m usually using it for trip guidance and the Google map directions interrupt the phone conversation. If I turn the volume down it turns the volume down on the phone call too so that doesn’t work. I’d rather talk using my AirPods. Anyway, I am sorry to see not everyone has had as good an experience as I have. Perhaps it’s Bluetooth that’s the weakest link and since I don’t use it, I’m good!

This was initially a great device. Worked well with the exception of having to reinitiate the Bluetooth connection. Also a little daunting to set up but not impossible. That said, I went to go to the store yesterday and the unit would not turn on. Checked everything...power, all cable connections, fuse panel (power cord shows power but still checked) but nothing helps. It just died. As my car is an older model without all the new technologies I relied on this to help with navigation and music. Very disappointing that only after a few times of using it that it just dies. Update: After a quick response from seller, was sent a replacement device with an updated firmware. Unit has been working fine without any issues for a few months now!!

I like the way it was made, lightweight and the accessories with it. It’s prefect for my old vehicle, my car’s display just had GPS and no connection to my phone. CarPlay can make driving easier and more enjoyable and installation is simple. I just needed a few minutes to resolve it. The display is crisp and simple to use. This is the plug-and-play carplay system I have been looking for! No installation is needed, setup is straightforward and easy. The wireless carplay is so convenient that no action is needed on your phone once it is paired with the unit via bluetooth for the first time. You can keep the phone in your pocket and enjoy all the convenience of the carplay, such as navigation and making phone calls. The built-in speaker is good and loud enough for navigation and making phone calls. Connecting the system to the onboard speakers (via aux or FM) will provide a more favorable audio quality for music. Besides the carplay, the system supports screen mirror, which allows you to play everything wirelessly on the screen. With the portable carplay system added to my dashboard, it makes my 10-year-old vehicle comparable to the latest models. If you are looking for a quick and easy solution to add a carplay (or android auto) system, you may definitely want to try this.

Purchased this unit as an alternative for built in carplay since my vehicle on .,has a single din slot so not many touchscreen head units for that. So I purchased this unit as a add on device for carplay and ran the audio cable to my head unit. Connected to my iphone 13 without any issues and started carplay and it has worked well for a few months, lately the unit keeps shutting off on it's own without any warning so I have to power on the unit again and then it works for a while then shuts off again. So I headed to the internet to find drive link web page for support and guess what there is no support page just an email link to support that's it. No way to upgrade firmware, no trouble shooting tips, no owner's manual link nothing.... So now I have no idea what to do to fix this issue. Is there a software update? I don't know... Is there a firmware update? I don't know...Is there any help at all? I don't know... I Would NOT Recommend this device for the simple fact there is no support at all. Buyer Beware While some features were good, and it did actually work pretty good for a few months since July 2023 what good is it if you have problems with it and there is no support.

I am not one for posting reviews. However, I couldn’t get this device to work. Initially, I was able to get Apple CarPlay to work. The directions are a little rough, but with patience you can get it to work. However, I was trying to get the mirror link to work. There are no directions on how to accomplish this. I disconnected CarPlay on my phone. After doing this, I was unable to reestablish connection. They appear to be linked, but the device does not recognize my phone. After a half an hour I wrapped it up and its Turn. This with my experience, I have read other reviews which led me to purchase this. If you decide to purchase, I wish you better luck.

Everything about the Drivelink works for me except one thing—the microphone. For some reason there is a constant buzzing sound when I am talking on the phone. I used my phone wirelessly and I was made aware of the issue. I don’t know if it is cause I received a faulty microphone or if it is something with my car. Other than that, this has been a great purchase for me. It brought some life to my 08 car. I really enjoy it. *************************** So as I mentioned a while back my product was having issues with its microphone. I hit up customer service asking for a new one and they sent me exactly that (no charge, no send back). Except it had the same issue…. I was a lil upset—yes, but they offered to send me another free of charge and everything and….it worked (the microphone…but only for a few minutes. So I hit them up again and end up getting a new one again. This time it worked!!! Perfectly and smoother than the previous ones I had too!! I was/and happy my issue got solved. I’ve been wanting to bring life to my archaic 2008 car and they have done just that for me with their EXCELLENT customer service. Buy one, you won’t regret it!
