Can it b used ina Keurig coffeemaker?

The espresso profile is specially formulated for your espresso machines. If you love your expensive and atheistically pleasing espresso machine and want it to last longer than a couple of years using your current water, then purchase the espresso profile. It will help protect your machine while simultaneously providing fantastic shots of delicious espresso.

We recommend using either distilled water or water from a reverse osmosis (RO) system. If you can acquire water with 0-9 total dissolvable solids (TDS) you will be in great shape. Distilled water can be found in the United States at the following locations:

Grocery stores (e.g. Kroger, HEB, Wholefoods, etc)
Convenience stores (e.g. Rite Aid, Walgreens, etc)
Supermarkets (e.g. Target, Wal-mart, etc)
NOTE: The only counter-top filter system we recommend using to acquire water to mix with your Third Wave Water mineral packet is Zero Water.

If you follow the instructions and use distilled water or reverse osmosis then all trace chemicals and unwanted minerals are removed. Adding the natural minerals from your patent pending Third Wave Water packet safely adds the following three (3) minerals: Magnesium Sulfate, Calcium Citrate and Sodium.

Shelf life is the same as any packet of sugar or salt. The only thing you can’t do is store it in places with extreme heat (over 150°F).

Question 2

What brand of distilled water works best with this product? I read all distilled waters are not equal, some add minerals after the process.

I have not heard this. We buy a gallon jug of distilled water, not purified or spring water, from our local grocery store or Walmart.

Question 3

The packet contents are stuck together as if outside moisture has affected it. I believe it has compromised the effectiveness. Has anyone seen this?

I've seen it. It's not been a problem for me. I rub the packet between my fingers before opening it, to break up the clumps and it dissolves fine - if you don't break them up like this then it might be hard for them to dissolve but you can just heat some of the water up, add the minerals and let them dissolve before re-adding that water back to the jug. Have never had an issue with effectiveness as long as the minerals have dissolved fully.

Can it be used with instant coffee?

Hmmm. I use a Keurig, it was sort of designed for use in such machines in order to prevent mineral buildup. You could of course buy a bottle of distilled water and then heat it as needed for instant coffee no reason why not, although I think its main purpose is avoiding the mineral buildup which tends to clog Keurig-type machines. HTH.
