A little pricey but when you only change it every 20 years it’s a good price
As advertised fit perfectly easy installation didn’t remove the door

There are two "rails" coming from the top of the sweeps. One is fairly simple, straight up with some ribbing to hold it in place. The other rail goes up, then folds sharply over towards the nearest edge, curving as it closes in. There is a very small gap between the sweep and the rail, to allow for some flex. The folded part is to allow the sweeps to clip into the door. They are almost impossible to remove without damaging them, and installation is not as easy as I expected. I would suggest either trying to soften the fold with a GENTLE heat source, or using pliers to squeeze the flex portion a little before installing. An extra inch on each sweep would help for double doors, especially with lower door bolts.

I am a handyman by trade. I always review the low ratings to see the issues buyers have. Yes, I received the sweep and it was curved. That's good. This was a perfect replacement for the door intended. Quality material. Not an easy "push in" installation. You must lock in the interior door side groove first, then, with the aid of a plastic hammer or a small wood block and regular hammer, work the exterior (bulb side) about an inch at a time with gentle strokes, from top to bottom. It is absolutely necessary to make sure that the plastic is FLAT AGAINST THE EXTERIOR EDGE so that it can lock itself in place. It will not come off unless you pry it off like the one you are replacing. A little pricey for a sweep but worth it.

Do not purchase this item. Not worth the time to install. Consider another vendor.
32.95 Amazon. DIY Doorstore 15.95 plus shipping 9.95. I ordered from Amazon. The item sent was very “stiff”. It was less flexible than the 15 yo one I removed. I had to use to finish the job or I would have returned the item. Almost impossible to install because of stiffness. I had to heat strip I order to get on the door. I would question if this was old stock or a mistake in manufacturing of this item.

Why Buy A New Door
Neighbor hated the loose hanging sweeps. Pulled them off and then noticed a draft. Thirty minutes and Thirty dollars later. No sweeps to pull and No Draft. Love a perfect fit.
