Can't fault it, expensive for a kettle but looks great which is why we purchased it, the temperature gauge is a useful addition.

Decent looking kettle ruined by poor reliability. Bought together with toaster as a change from the white ones I've had in the past. First one the on/off button kept popping up. I presumed it was because I only needed to boil the minimum amount of watwe and had undercooked it, or because it was new. However, after a year, it stopped working completely. Ordered a second, and paid for it, unaware there is a 2 year warranty. This one has also started switching itself off every few seconds. The style is decent as is the permanent limescale filter. Lid stays on well. The thermostat isn't great, it seems to lag well behind the actual water temperature. Also I'm not sure what it is for as there are no temperature settings for coffee, herbal tea etc. Also, per the photo attached, the green is more faded and less vibrant than on the box. I would avoid this at all costs. I can't believe Laura Ashley allow their name to be used on such a terrible product. I would imagine the company is buying cheap kettle from China and sticking the pattern vinyl onto them. Amazon don't accept returns beyond 30 days, so I am lumbered with a terrible kettle. I can write to the company but realistically, postage and the cost of a cheap kettle to use while it's being checked would cost too much. I'll cut my losses and buy a decent Bosch or Smeg one. This makes my old Casa Bugatti one seem reliable and that was terrible. Lastly, the kettle is in a polythene bag, and when I unwrapped it I got a very painful static shock, there was even a spark from the kettle to my finger. I suggest earthing yourself by touching metal or using a tumble dryer sheet on the bag before unwrapping if you are prone to static shocks. Avoid. If I have managed to save one person the misery and expense thox review will be worth the time it took. Funnily enough, the toaster is working perfectly.

This kettle broke within a couple of months of use. Button does not stay on unless something is holding it down. Says it comes with 2 Yr warranty, yet, I have tried to contact amazon numerous times and there is absolutely no facility to do so!! All Google searches of webchat etc lead you down a rabbit hole of clicked links that bring you nowhere. Expensive kettle which looked fab when first purchased but faulty and no way of repairing/ as unable to contact seller or amazon. Very disappointing!!

Matches my new kitchen. Good size kettle. A but noisy when boiling water. Very stylish

brought this in December, within the month the cap for the spout fell off and I couldn't put it back on as it kept falling off, gave up. then the clock thing isn't working. The kettle won't stop boiling so I have to switch it off, happening for two months, and over the last week has been tripping out the electricity, changed the fuse and it still is doing it. I have now given up and can't return it, WASTE OF £89 I am soooo disappointed as its a beautiful kettle

Unbelievable it's broken on the switch, for a very expensive kettle I'd expect MUCH better quality.

Loved this kettle. Bought matching toaster. Inside of a year the on/off button doesn’t work anymore and I have had to use a weight the last 3 months to turn/keep the kettle on to boil 😩 Can’t see a way of contacting the company re a replacement/refund. Very expensive kettle to only get 8 months use out of. Disappointed

Lovely looking kettle, a little noisy than most when boiling and the switch doesn't stay down when switching on to boil sometimes, for the price will be sending back because of the switch

I’ve had it for about two months now and it’s starting to leak through the lid when I pour it. Very cheaply made. Does not feel like good quality which is extremely disappointing especially given how much it costs.
