Godefroy Hair Color Tint Kit, Medium Brown, 20 Applications, Root Touch-Up

I used to pay to get my brows tinted but always felt I’d do the shape better on my own, and I was right! I have naturally light brown hair but regularly dye it a reddish and other colors. This shade is perfect for me, if u leave it on too long it can be a bit dark but after a day and a shower it really softens them. I love this product it’s easy and I have been using it since last summer and I still have plenty of product left. If I was to consistently keep up with it I would do it about every 2 weeks maybe 3 depending. When I use this I refrain from wetting my face in the shower or going under water and when I wash my face I stay away from my brows mostly, I just comb them through. They last for a long time for me if I avoid getting them wet as best I can. But I also love this product for vacations and summer when you want your brows to be clean and neat without having to wear makeup. I use this regularly and swear by it. I usually wipe off the front of the brows at the recommended time so they don’t look boxy and leave the ends of my brows on for a few minutes longer than it suggests. I recommend out lining the brows in Vaseline the first time u do it before u get the hang of it to really achieve the shape u want.

Years ago I plucked my brows incredibly thin when that was the in thing to do. Now every day I have to put my eyebroes on to avoid looking like a zombie. I have a Youngblood brow kit at home and also in my purse because I’m deathly afraid of being seen without my brows. I tried this product with low expectations. But wow, I didn’t even realize I still have some eyebrows! It tinted the hair, and although it’s a thin line, I HAVE EYEBROWS! I can swim without embarrassment. I have even gone grocery shopping without putting on my beloved brows! This is the real deal, folks! The tint lasts around three weeks before I reapply. But I don’t mind, since it’s very easy and takes a couple of minutes. It did not tint my skin as others have stated. I wish it did, because I still apply my brow makeup over this. I have auburn hair and wished this came in a red shade. But the light brown works just fine with my hair color. I only use a small portion of the capsule, since it’s only for my brows. This stuff will last forever. I did understand this is not recommended for eyebrows. But I didn’t smear it in my eyes, so I’m all set. I probably should have tested it in my hand to see if I have a reaction (as other similar products reconnend), but I didn’t. It was just fine. Bottom line: buy this. You won’t be sorry you did.

Ok so I have been brow-obsessed for years. I over tweezed in high school, so now things are a little sparse, especially on my right brows tail. For as far back as I can recall, I’ve drawn my brows on daily. I’d say I like a somewhat bold brow, and only recently preferring a slightly more natural brow with defined tails. About a year and a half ago, I got microbladed combo brows. I really loved the look but I have oily skin. So, they didn’t hold up well and I needed to begin filling them in slightly within just a couple of months. Seemed like a waste since I paid like $600. So about a year ago I started tinting my brows, first getting it done professionally, then opting to DIY. I’ve tried every single tint- from several brands of henna, to Just For Men, so peel off Tattoo Brow- and this Godefroy tint kit is the best by far! Since I have some sparse/bald spots, I need a product that will tint my skin. This does so, and actually lasts about 5 days on the skin for me. Like I said, my skins oily, so 5 days is impressive. I will say this though: I feel like you need to be pretty skilled at filling in your brows to apply this tint well. I use my Anastasia #14 and basically apply this just like I would a brow pomade. After about 2 minutes, I remove the tint from the front/start of my brows, for a slight ombré look. Then I remove the product from the rest after like 3 or 4 more minutes. If I need more coverage in the soarer areas, I’ll do another round. It turns out amazing. I’m so happy with this stuff. I don’t need to fill in my brows with makeup anymore- just some clear brow gel and they’re set. It saves me 10-20 min on my morning routine AND I prefer the look of the tint. It’s like a defined yet still somewhat natural look. I HIGHLY recommend this product. It’s a purchase you won’t regret!!

I love this tint kit! I was sick of paying $20+ per tint through the salon and stumbled upon this product. It comes with just about everything you need - developer bottle, small angle brush, dye powder capsules, and a tiny mixing bowl. Instructions are straight forward and the product is easy to use. Additional things you'll want to use in conjunction with this product: - q tips - Vaseline - paper towels - spoolie brush Here's how I do it: - set a paper towel on the surface you're working on. The dye capsules don't always open gracefully and can make a bit of a mess - wash and dry your face to remove any makeup and oils or the dye won't transfer as well - mix a couple peas worth of developer with one dye capsule in the mixing bowl, mix together carefully with the end of the small angle brush and let sit for a minute - use a spoolie brush to smooth out your brows, and then use a q tip with Vaseline on the skin all the way around your eyebrows. This prevents any dye transfer to your skin if you goof a bit and is a trick I learned from my stylist - use the small angle brush to apply dye directly in your entire brow area. I usually go back 2-3 times with extra dye to make sure I'm fully covering the hairs - let sit for 5-15min depending on how dark you want your brows. I let it sit 15-20min because I'm blonde and like dark brows - use a paper towel and face wash to remove the dye from your brows OR take a shower. I usually line my brow tints up so I take a shower immediately after which helps remove excess dye that stuck to the skin instead of the hairs - voila! Don't worry if it seems as if there's a lot of dye that transfered to your skin. This will come off after about 2 showers and you'll be left with beautifully tinted brows. I've also used this on my eyelashes but use extreme care as dye in your eye can cause eye complications (I don't recommend amateurs do eyelash tints, just stick to the brows). I usually do an at home tint every two weeks. The lady I see for brow waxes and my makeup artist (for special occasions) love it because it makes their jobs easier, and I no longer have to wear brow products because they're already fleeky. Definitely recommend this product. The medium brown is what I use and it's on the cooler side. My only complaint about this product is that the dye capsules can be messy as they don't always open easily. I wish it was a pouch of powder with a little scoop or something but oh well. This product is super affordable and easy to use. Give it a go!

Easy to mix, easy to apply and worked great.

The first time I did this, I followed directions as closely as I could. There isn't a measuring spoon for the developer so I had no way to measure it out. I had to eyeball it. I left it on for 2 minutes and wiped off. I wasn't impressed at all. The dye got foamy and the line looked pizxelated instead of crisp which I hate. I scrubbed my face 6 times over the next 24 hours to get the dye to no longer be visible. Attempt 2. I got a lot of qtips, alcohol, and a chair. I used a lot less developer, again eyeballing it, and applied a thin coat. I let it foam up and used a qtip to clean up the brow line and applied a second coat. I repeated this until each brow had 4 light coats. I sat and watched in the mirror being sure to clean the line frequently until it dried. This took about 10 mins. I left it for 30 minutes and washed it off. The first pic is immediately after. Excuse my face. I just had surgery and I'm scary! I was also paranoid. This was way darker and thicker than I hoped for. I washed my face several times that day. The second pic is 24 hours later. I was happy with the color now. I wash my face normally, being careful not to scrub my brows. Just a gentle wash. The last pic is today, 4 days later. Still dark but the crisp lines are gone. I will retouch them, but not just yet. Think I'll wait until the dye is no longer visible to get a clear answer on how long it lasts. I will definitely buy again.

I have thin/patchy dark brown eyebrows. I was tired of spending 7+ minutes a day prepping my brows with normal brow liner. I tried this product with little hope, but I was totally happy with the results! I left the formula on for 5 minutes and gently wiped off my brows...My eyebrows look amazing. (The whole process took a little over 20 minutes) There was more than enough formula for me so I shared with my twin sister... Her brows, that are normally patchy and thin, were completely transformed. YOU CAN USE THIS PRODUCT ON MORE THAN ONE PERSON! There is easily enough formula for two or three people in JUST ONE CAP. You could probably get away with only using half a cap per application. The only thing that I would say negatively about this product is that it lasts for two or three days before noticeable fading starts (remember I have dark brows and I expect them to stay dark without fading) but still a good product. I used to be embarrassed of my brows, when I removed my makeup... ( this would be a perfect product to use when spending a night with friends) It appears natural yet beautiful! IT HELPS SAVE TIME WHEN APPLYING MAKEUP. but most important it does not easily wash off ( if you have eyebrow makeup on while swimming it would wash off) NOT THIS STUFF! it is really nice, but the more you scrub or disrupt your eyebrows, the more likely your brows will fade quicker. So far very happy with this product. Highly recommend! IT DOES COME WITH A CAUTION LABEL BUT I HAD NO ALLERGIC REACTION! make sure to test on your arm two days before application to see if you are allergic.

Edited to say that I originally bought these in 2020 and they lasted me 6 years, but since then I have started using apps like Yuka to know what ingredients are in products and limit the carcinogens I put on & in my body and these unfortunately rate horribly on there. If that matters to you then I would not buy these as there is a clean alternative out there that works just as good if not better. —I last purchased this item in October of 2020 and they have lasted me until now so I’ll share my tips! I carefully twist the capsules apart and only use about a 4th or 3rd of the product at a time. Once it’s mixed with the developer, I walk away from it for about 4 or 5 minutes and it kind of expands during that time, that’s when I know it’s completely melded and ready. I will note, these seemed stronger when they were fresher, meaning I would basically apply 1st eyebrow, do 2nd eyebrow, wipe 1st quickly, etc. and repeat that process if necessary, and I have absolutely ended up looking like one of those angry mushrooms from Mario Bros a time or two! As I’ve gotten down to these last few capsules, so 6 years later, they have lost a little strength and are much more forgiving so I can do both brows and let them sit for a minute or 2 before I wipe off now. I got the medium brown! I try to keep them natural looking (the longer you leave dye on the more your skin behind the hair will also be dyed and look less natural) My brows are naturally more of a dark blonde as you can see! TLDR: less is more, try the apply wipe apply wipe method until you’re comfortable.

Been using this for 5+ years! I am extremely picky and never liked how my eyebrows turned out when I got them tinted by someone so I started doing it myself! Easy to use and the best way I would tell ppl to use this is to go slow. I do one application on each eyebrow wait a bit, wipe it off and go again until I like how dark they are. Don’t put it on and just leave it bc it will get really dark (unless that’s the look you’re going for), I just find going one application at a time always turns out the most natural :) There is plenty of product too in one capsule and the developer always lasts a long time, I always add a generous amount bc there is a lot of it. Just an amazing product!

Omg, this is fantastic. I have very fair eyebrows and so I had to do them 3 times. I started the first 2 tries at 1.5 mins each and then did a final 1 min. They are fantastic. Wicked wicked product, soooooooooo easy to use - no more going to the salon and paying a fortune. Highly highly recommend.

Awesome kit! Never used powdered dye before but it is very easy to mix and apply. The powder can go a long way! With showering/washing my face twice a day, I need to apply this every 2.5-3 weeks
