What is the difference between this model and HT-S400-2.1?

Hi Ahmed, We can confirm that the HT-S400 supports wireless connection feature while it's not supported on the HT-SD40. This feature allows you to turn on your TV and soundbar on and off together using one remote control when they're wirelessly connected to each other, check this link for more info: https://www.sony.co.uk/electronics/sound-bars/ht-s400 (copy & paste to your browser). Sony Support UK.

Hi there, can i plug my fire stick into this sound bar, and then run an hdmi cable to my projector?

Hi Euclid, We do not recommend this connection, only a direct connection between the fire-stick and the TV, and the soundbar and the TV directly. Sony support UK
