Cheap and Light Insulation Increase
It's only 70g and it is thin and quite fragile, but I knew this when I bought it. I used it as a supplemental insulator, under my regular inflatable pad, on an 8C September night out camping. It was fantastic. Touch the groundsheet and it's cold, touch the foil mat and it's warm. No idea what the actual R-value is, but it worked a treat. I've docked one star because it's quite expensive for what is essentially radiator foil with a poorly stitched edge.

she loves it.
wife got this to go camping with her daughters, and grandson. she loves it, extremely lightweight, packable and does a great job of insulating her from the cold floor. amazing price too.

It’s flimsy, but if keeps you decently warm
Pros: - Low price. - Very lightweight. - Can feel the temperature difference, even though mat is thin. - Little storage/carrying loop. - Does not rustle as might be expected. Cons: - Flimsy and low quality. The edging strip easily tore from the foil. - Backing material is little more than that thin packing foam used to wrap fragile items in the post. - It’s narrow - my arms rest off the edges of the mat. - Only around 1-2mm thick. I’ve realised I need to be more careful when using this in order to avoid further damage. I’d imagine it would easily puncture/tear when used on uncovered ground. I use it on my hammock and it’s okay enough to keep my bottom warm in cooler temperatures.

Great!
Been using regularly for a year now, wild camping. Light weight and great for keeping warm under my sleeping pad.

Added warmth, very lightweight, yet not very durable
I used this when camping on cold nights in the winter. It's actually really good for that purpose. It DOES add warmth. I did no scientific test, but after each night when I woke up, the sleeping mat was warm (from my body heat, being reflected down, then up), and the tent floor was cold. That means it does its job with reflecting warmth. It's extremely lightweight (less than 100g), and very portable and compact. However, it's not very durable. After only using it for a few days, the seam for one of the edges tore up. I used the mat normally, yet this happened. It can't be very durable for this reason. The seller kindly offered a partial refund because of this. Most likely, if you use this product, you'd need to repair it yourself several times. But it's pretty easy to repair with eg duck tape. Therefore, I do recommend it still. ********* UPDATE: After using this now for more than +50 nights, I can highly recommend it. It has not broken and is still in a good shape. It's thin but it's a deliberate choice to get something like this vs a more big and bulky foam mat.
