Seems pretty solid, I spent around 10 minutes on my camping axe where it did tidy up the front edge quite well. I didn't get it as sharp as I hoped but it was my first attempt and the axe was pretty cheap so I suppose I'll get a better result with practice

He usado esta piedra para afilar un hacha y la verdad que funciona muy bien. La tuve bastante tiempo en agua, como un par de horas antes de meterle mano al hacha y lo dejó muy afilado. Ahora corta ramas que da gusto sin esfuerzo. También probé el hacha para cortar pequeños troncos en cuartos para la chimenea y va de cine. Es una piedra de afilar muy práctica y que puedes usar con una mano mientras que con la otra sostienes el hacha. Para cuchillos va mejor una piedra rectangular con base para apoyar bien mientras das filo a los cuchillos, ya que la he probado con estos y no da el mejor resultado. Así que mejor para afilar hachas

Good little whetstone. Does exactly what you'd expect. Perfect to use for tools which are too big to use on regular whetstones (e.g. Garden shears). Helped to refine a decent edge on the tools pretty quickly and this is sped up with the dual sides - bringing it back to a decent edge with the rough side, then refining with the finer side. Very easy to use once you've got the technique, all you need is a little bit of water and off you go!

Arrivata come sempre puntuale, la pietra si presenta solida, le 2 parti abrasive si differenziano alla perfezione con i 2 colori differenti, le grane mi sembrano ottime, non ancora usata, mi riserbo il futuro se modificare il giudizio nel caso siano scadenti
