I started taking this years ago when I needed to boost my calcium levels. Taking it twice daily did the trick. I chose this one for the benefits of the other ingredients. Now I only have to take it once daily. I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised and impressed. Good stuff, potent! The capsules are tasteless, and although a little large they go down easy. I’ve never had digestive problems with them.

This elderberry supplement works WONDERS on my urinary tract. I have been a quadriplegic for 40 years and, because I have a Foley catheter, I am very prone to getting bladder infections. Doctors told me this 40 years ago and they were right. I also have a lot of edema, or swelling in my extremities, and pain in my bladder. This supplement helps a LOT with that. It is a combination of the ascorbic acid helps prevent bacteria growth, the vitamin D helps with the immune system, as well as the elderberry itself, which has tons of antioxidants and is known to help with inflammation. It works so well for my inflammation, my output will increase dramatically within a few hours of taking it… pretty much like a diuretic. I usually take one capsule 4 times per day. My "output" increases significantly within 24 hours and it is very clear. If I run out, my output drops, the swelling comes back and the bladder infections start to take over. It is sometimes not so obvious that supplements actually work, but I have no doubt that Viva Naturals elderberry is THE MOST effective supplement I have ever taken (magnesium, for bowel function, is the 2nd most effective.)
