Highly Recommend this
This compression wrap was exactly what I needed for my 7-year old Boxer-mix. The velcro is great, almost too sticky, but that is what's needed to keep it on. It's easy to put on my dog, who did NOT like it at first. The first couple of days I put it on somewhat loosely for a half hour at a time so she could get use to it. After a few days I was able to make it a little tighter; she didn't mind having it on and it really helps her walking. This product is not flimsy. When I first opened the package, I thought, "Really?" But I found that it was perfect for my dog. It truly is worth the price, which seemed a little steep at first, but I have decided was a bargain. I was impressed with the packaging. It came with what looks like it is hand written, thanking the customer for choosing their product. They also promise to send you the correct size if it doesn't fit. Cutest of all is a card for your doggie. I find all that to be a great personal touch for a business. We need more who care about their products. Some advice: As one reviewer mentioned, measure your dog's leg and ignore the dog's weight. According to weight she would need a medium wrap but according to measurements she needs a small wrap, which I ordered and it fits perfect. Also, (IMPORTANT) make sure you put the wrap on correctly. If you don't and end up putting it on backwards, it could do more harm. BOTTOM LINE: I highly recommend this product.

Does exactly what it's designed for
I waited a while before reviewing to make sure it would work, and hold out on such a tough job. (Before leaving comments - Lady is a rescue from a meth house that was using her for a puppy-mill to pay for more drugs. She, along with several other mastiffs were rescued. She and her brother came to our house. We didn't do this to her. We didn't get her and her brother from a breeder. And we don't breed her. We are merely here to make the rescues as comfortable as possible for as long as possible.) Lady has one particularly bad joint that she takes several meds for and they do help with the pain, but not with her leg slipping under while she walks. Her leg was getting worse and we were getting nervous she would have to be put down just because of the one joint (her brother had to be put down early because of severely bad hips that wouldn't hold him any longer.) When we go on walks, her hind leg would slip under her due to weakness, and often times she would fall on her keester. I found this brace - one of the few big enough for her swollen joint and that didn't cost $100's (if I'm not sure it's going to work, I don't want to pay that much). This is definitely doing the trick! Lady is 160 lbs and is now 8'sh. (Mastiff's usually range between 7-9 years.) Mind you it's not stiff, so it won't straighten out the slightly curved in joint/leg, or help with the swollen joint, but the slipping has definitely gotten better - which keeps her walking - which keeps her healthy - which keeps her with us. She can even run a bit with it without tripping on her back leg! I was happy to see her run again. She isn't afraid of the stairs anymore either (we try to keep her off the stairs as much as possible though). I definitely recommend this. If needed, we will purchase more for future rescues. For the price, it's definitely worth it. My only issue is, this was the biggest size and for one of the straps, it's barely hanging on. But, that comes with having a mastiff. And a mastiff with swollen joints. (This probably wouldn't have fit her 200 lbs brother.) The velcro is holding out with daily use, and when she walks through tall grasses and sage. I haven't noticed it getting funky, which is good. She doesn't mind it on her leg and it doesn't rub her raw (which I was worried about). When I say walk, she'll wait to have it put on. Some people were wondering how tight to make it. I just lay it against her and then push the velcro into itself. I don't pull on the velcro to make it tighter and you wouldn't want it slipping around either (or it would rub). Just tight enough to stay put and not slide around. It says it's for support - that's exactly what it does. Don't expect it to do more. Very pleased!

Great hock support for my dog!
This hock support is exactly as described, well made and the Velcro is strong. Fits my dog well and she was totally comfortable wearing it. Left it on for several hours initially and no irritation. I could tell from her gait that it is giving her the support she needs on that leg. Very pleased to have found this company and products.

So helpful for torn ACL
This is a really helpful product for our fur baby. She has a torn ACL and with her hip arthritis the vet didn’t think she was a good candidate for surgery. It took a day for her to get used to it and not walk like a baby deer learning to walk but she doesn’t even limp anymore. Thank you Labra!!!

Excellent product. Amazing customer service!
Initially I ordered the medium after measuring and it was way too big. For reference I have a 65 pound 15 year old Golden retriever. She’s very delicate though with a slight build. Not muscular at all. On the mediums the neoprene overlapped and would slip. I couldn’t get it snug. Emailed the owner Noah direct and he helped me figure out sizing so I tried the small instead. It fits almost perfectly. The top two Velcro’s overlap just slightly but the bottom two Velcro’s (below the hock) barely fit. My pup is obviously in between sizes. But the small is working well to support her. I can’t imagine the small fitting any tea cup breed but it all depends on the size of their legs and the thickness. The weight of the dog isn’t really gonna help. It’s how skinny Or muscular the leg is. Here’s some pointers that might help others order: -When you measure be sure you know where the hock joint actually is. It’s just a bit above the ankle. That big bone that sticks out like a knob on the back of the leg. Two of the Velcro’s clasp below that bone and two of the Velcro’s clasp above it. The actual hock joint is not covered by the brace. -Measure with the measuring tape pulled tight. Especially if your dog has lots of hair. The brace has to fit snug or it won’t work. -If your dog has lots of hair I’d suggest wrapping the area lightly with some vet tape or bandages first so the brace stays on better and doesn’t pull the hair. You could even wrap the area and then measure it to give you a better idea. -If you’re not sure about sizing because your dogs legs shape doesn’t fit in the right category email the owner first and ask. He’ll totally help you out. Nicest guy ever. -Don’t leave the braces on too long or overnight. The area needs to breathe and you don’t want those muscles to weaken from lack of use. -It’s much easier to put the braces on when your pup is standing up. I straddled her facing her bum and bent over her to put them on. Tried it with her laying down and once she stood up the brace wasn’t in the right position. Overall this is an excellent brace and it’s really sturdy and well made. I have a different brand of braces for her front legs and they are just plain neoprene. These braces are bite/chew proof. Hope this helps someone else’s pup. Thanks again Noah!

Measure carefully for small breeds.
It is just a little too big for our dog. I wish for dogs with shorter legs. I bought the small. Maybe offer an extra small version. Otherwise the quality is great.

Not what I was hoping for
Purchased this hock wrap for my 11 year old Rottweiler who has some history of injury and arthritis who can use a little extra support to get up and around. I had a single hock wrap from his knee brace and was hoping to get a second of equal quality to provide support to his other leg. I purchased this based on positive reviews and the measurements seemed to line up with his leg measurements. The wrap looks to be well made but the material is very thin. Even though the measurements were right I have difficulty getting it to close at the very top and I don't like having Velcro across the back of his leg. The opening for his "heel" is very small so no matter how tight I get it, it eventually starts sliding down after wearing it for awhile. For the price of the hock wrap I was hoping this would be a great solution but it doesn't seem to be providing much stability compared to his current wrap and he does not seem to like wearing it at all. I am planning on contacting the knee brace company to find out if they will be willing to just sell me a hock wrap so I know I'm getting something that works. Since I have been trying to make this work while searching for another option I can't return it now but I would not purchase this again. Maybe this would work well for others if their dogs proportions were more appropriate to the design.

Works to a point
It works and gives support. It seam's to slip down but if you put to tight it seems to cut cerculation some.

Buono il prezzo ma poco efficace
Purtroppo con gli stretch tende a staccarsi vanificando l'effetto desiderato seppur competitivo il prezzo.

Value for money
This works just fine, for the price it’s everything I would expect and hope for. It gives some extra support, a helping hand to keep the leg supported. I bought a large and I have an almost full grown GSD and it fits just fine. My GSD has an injured ACL and without this attached he limps very badly, when I attach this support he clearly walks with more confidence. It allows some movement to assist when walking but also enough support to give that extra helping hand. I would recommend to anyone with elderly dogs that need that extra support or minor injury’s to help assist recovery.

Sehr hilfreiche Bandage
