This is a great way to bring the natural colour back to your hair. My Husband uses it and it has darkened his hair considerably. He used to use Just For Men hair dye which gave an unaturally dark colour. He was in hospital for some time and his hair turned really grey so he tried Contro; GX and now uses it once every couple of weeks. It has restored a natural looking darkeness to his hair, not an artificial looking colour. A great result! It is also suitable for Women so, whatever your natural colour, it will gradually restore it!

I'm 67 and lucky enough to have inherited good hair! My hair naturally stayed quite dark but as the greys crept in I have used this 2-3 times a month and it works great. It's exactly what I wanted: easy to use - shampoo on, rinse off - and subtle.Some hair colourants are a bit of a performance or else show in certain lights. This is simple to use and looks quite natural.I have used this for years and have had no problem with scalp irritation or any other issues. Everyone responds differently to chemicals, but personally I recommend people to try this.

I’ve been using this shampoo for a few weeks now and the results are gradual but noticeable.It’s easy to use as part of a normal hair washing routine, and the colour change looks natural rather than sudden. Hair feels clean and conditioned after use, so it works well as a 2-in-1 product.It does take some time to see results, so consistency is key, but that’s expected with this type of product.Overall, a convenient option if you want to reduce grey hair gradually without using traditional dye.

This works slowly, it can take a week after using it for full darkening to happen, so do not overdo it. I find that once a week will take the edge off grey hair and leave it plausibly a bit darker, enough to stop people treating you like a white haired old fool without making it obvious you colour your hair ( although nothing wrong with men colouring their hair, women have been doing it for ever ). By the way, use gloves when applying it and keep an old towel for drying you hair after you used this product, as it will make dark patches on towels. Use gloves because this product attaches itself to keratin of your hair and your nails are also keratin, so you will end up with dark nails no matter how you scrub them afterwards. I am very wary of using any separate conditioner on my hair because I suspect that a coating of conditioner on your hair may well prevent this product from working.

This is amazing stuff have tried the alpecin grey attack previously with very minimal results however this stuff is incredible would recommend 100%

Delivered on time . Arrived in good condition packaging wise. Has an ally foil seal over the nozzle under the cap.I think after opening to air it starts to degrade in performance bit by bit.The instructions say leave on for 2 mins or more to get results.I find it a nice combined conditioner and shampoo, but ive used cheaper alternatives for that job.It comes out of the tube almost golden. Rich and creamy.Feels nice rubbing into the hair and scalp.Ive left mine on my hair for ever 8 minutes....and my hair is still whiter than the driven snow!PS. dont forget your eyebrows.Personally...i cannot detect any colouring effect.What does happen though is that mixing it in the air with water causes the solution to go black.Both in the water , in your hands, on your sink and bathroom tiles and especially on an towels or hand clothes you may have nearby.A good rinse dyes the sink water black..the sink walls black, the tiles and mortar are affected by any splashes. And my orange facetowel is now a camouflage dappled finish.Any darkening of the hair seems totally accidental.

Read the instructions before you buy. Not good if you have a crew cut and your hair is white and you are practically bald! Like me! It’s a dye and can stain .. apparently.

I’m 46 & a colleague who hadn’t seen me for 10+ years said she didn’t recognise me due to the grey hair.So I started using this in November and used it daily for the first 2-3 weeks, then I reduced it to alternate days and now I sometimes go a couple days in a row without using it.The photo above shows before and now (no filters). Nobody has asked me if I’ve dyed my hair, which is great because I wanted something subtle, but you can see there has been a huge change and reduction in grey hair.I will keep using this product but I recommend you take note of other advice about using your palms and not finger tips - I followed this and have zero staining of my fingernails. I rinse it really well and have also not really noticed any staining of towels.I’m not sure how it would work for lighter hair, but it’s worth a go and works really well on my dark hair.
