Working as advertised. Took 2 attempts and the device + drivers got installed correctly. Instructions and documentation online were ok. Recognition of fingerprints is good and fast enough. No issues so far. Price is acceptable. Hopefully it lasts. Quality is acceptable. BTW I have only USB 3.0 ports, and it worked just fine. No compatibility issues. Size, dimension and black color suited well with my Thinkpad laptop thickness. And since I use this at work, it sure is working well with Windows Hello for Business.

This fingerprint scanner works well not just on MS Windows platform, but also on Linux. I use Ubuntu 24.04 and was skeptical about its working. In fact it got detected and was verifiable with the lsusb device. Then I followed the instructions given in this link: Follow the instructions given by the person Leon on github: search for Chipsailing CS9711. And the last command is executed - then this device started to work like a charm.

Fast and accurate fingerprint recognition.

This is a fingerprint reader that worked for a couple of days and then stopped working. I sent it back to AmiciSmart and they checked and returned stating all is well. But it does not work and is not a trustworthy product.

As far as fingerprint sensor is concerned this is the best in market, price is little bit high ,1700-1999/- would be the appropriate margin else I am amazed to see that it's working on each and every windows operating system, lock folders , confidential files can be super protected . Its plug and play type device do no need to worry about installation process,it's the simplest and the best .

Works well with Windows Hello and can reads fingerprints quickly and accurately. The catch? It didn't work at first, but as one of the reviewer suggested, it doesn't work well in the front USB3.1 ports. When I used USB 3.0 port at the back of the cabinet, it worked like a charm and after the drivers were installed, the reader worked in the front ports as well. I suspect it's a windows issue.
