Dragon Legend (Dragon Realm, 2)

We received book one at Chirstmas when we were on the last couple of chapters we went ahead and ordered book 2. This series is fun and entertaining.

My boys love this series and can’t wait until the next book comes out! It’s a fun adventure that keeps them wanting to read more than our required daily reading time. I can’t complain about that.

My 10 year old loves the series, he cannot wait for the third book to come. There is nothing more rewarding that seeing your kid happy while reading.

My boys love these books: they’re easy to read and fun. They portray both girls and boys as strong and capable. They are formulaic, but some children appreciate that.

Our 9yo loves this series and recommends it to anyone that asks.

The book is breath taking and Heart Pounding! An extremely exciting book! It definitely exceeded my expectations! I REALLY can’t wait to read the next one. Highly recommend this series.

Billy Chan and his friends travel to the Dragon Realm to save Dylan from the Dragon of Death. They will need to collect eight magical pearls to have a chance against the super powerful immortal Dragon of Death. They will need to travel through the Frozen Wasteland and to the imperial palaces of Ancient China to collect the pearls. I thought the second novel was more entertaining than the first one. However, I still feel like the team dynamic is lacking and most of the time the characters are just adding to Billy's train of thought instead of being independent people. I am not the target demographics so, younger readers might not notice slight faults between character development and team building between characters. I did like that this book contained more humor than the previous novel. Young readers who are fascinated with dragons would enjoy this book.

Niece liked it

My 7-year-old is an avid reader, so I like that this book is a challenging read for him. He can learn new vocabulary and expressions all while enjoying this exciting adventure! We’ve just bought the rest of the books in the series but I’ll have to keep them hidden so he enjoys each one, because he would stay up late trying to read them all at once if he could!

Love this book so much and I love the dragon series books. I recommend this book to your children or grandchildren. It is a fun adventure and there are lots of cool characters.
