Wood Stove Catalytic Combustor, 6" Round Ceramic Catalytic Combustor Replacement for Dutchwest & Englander & Dovre Wood Burning Stoves

I have been using my catalytic burner for a year now, and no problems. I originally bought mine before Eason started making the 5.83" option. The 6" didn't fit in my Duchwest, but Eason got a replacement out to me in just a couple of days. I don't know how he got it out so quickly. I think the 6" would fit most stoves and give a tighter fit for less leakage. The 6" was so close to fitting mine. In my opinion, this is a better catalytic burner at a better price, and if you need help Eason is quick to solve your problem.

Tried several other combustors and they wouldn't last half a season, always clogging with ash. This catalytic appears to be ceramic instead of sheet metal and lasts me a whole season without cleaning.

I don’t know if it lacks a coating or it isn’t made of the proper material. But it simply will not fire up and get hot like the OEM units will. It seems well constructed but unfortunately it is a total waste of time and money. Purchased a $300 OEM unit and it fires right up. Guess you get what you pay for.

This is a huge improvement over my existing worn down combustor. My stove got very hot and burned well with the damper closed and the air controls tightened shut after replacing the the old combustor. Before I replaced the the old combustor the stove was not burning well; not getting hot like it use to. This one didnt smoke or allow smoke to leak like the old one did. I am glad I ordered this new combustor. This stove is very old and seems to be needing repairs but the main issue was taken car of.
