McMaster Method Microscope Slide - FEC (Fecal Egg Count) or Worm Count, Double Chamber Slide for Parasite Testing and Management in Horses, Sheep, Goats and Cattle

To do the McMaster method you need this slide, and although it was $16 for one slide it is completely worth it. I do fecal egg counts for my small ruminants on my farm (over 50 head) and it is very easy to use and do the test. The only thing I regret is not buying more!!

Much cheaper than buying through the actual vendor.

This is a great slide for fec (fecal egg counts)! Not sure how I'd attempted them before using this slide. It acts with capillary effect for both chambers, and viewing is perfect under 40x. Use this for my horses and have found the results to be fantastic, grids make counting as well as viewing samples easy and straightforward...highly recommend for any biologist, vet tech, or personal use for viewing their horses fec and non-resistant worming methods!

The only reason I didn't give this a five star is because it was a little pricier than I thought it should've been. It's plastic and pretty thick.

I purchased this as part of my home set up to do fecals on my Nigerian Dwarf herd. This works awesome to be able to accurately count eggs.

This works with fecal tests on goats. It’s expensive though but you only need one.
