Fearless

G1C's fourth album displays a lot of change with the group. The departure of Pablo has caused a mellowing of the hip-hop that dominated verses of previous G1C's past albums and has given Blanca a chance to step up and become more of a central part of the duo's sound. Manwell holds down the fort with his hip-hop rhymes and the beats are as fresh and fun as always. I also think this album is a step-up lyrically and reflects the enduring spirit the Lord has given these two during this transitional time. I like Fearless a lot and think that G1C is coming into their own and finding their unique identity. Highly recommended for exercising, parties, and just cruising in the car.

I really enjoy the variety within this album. There are some great songs regarding scripture, which are great, but also some that have great energy and no negative (non-Christian - getting drunk, high, laid) messages. In the past I may have seen this as a watered down album, but these are musicians - if you want Church, go to Church. If you want to enjoy some great music, then listen to this album. I would love to hear them collaborate for a Praise/Worship album too at some point. I love their skill and would love to hear it applied to some of the classics or even some new or self-written P&W songs.

If you are a parent looking to give your kids a really awesome Christian CD, you won't be let down and they will love it. Group1Crew's music has a variety of sound. My favorites are the ones that are similar to the Black Eyed Peas. They have some urban funk, a little electronica and some very good praise songs. I forget the female vocalist's name but she is outstanding. And her male counterpart is just as good. When I was a teenager I was always looking for Christian music that was just as good quality as the non Christian music. To me, this is Black Eyed Peas (a younger edition) Jesus style.

I had never heard of Group 1 Crew before, but it popped up under $5 albums, so I listened to a few of the samples. I like what I heard and somewhat reluctantly purchased the album without really knowing what I was getting... I was not disappointed!! A great mixture of ballads and really cool, funky, updated Christian "dance music". I have almost the entire album on my play list for the gym! A new favorite for both myself and my tween daughter!!

Of the four Group1Crew albums that I have this is the best in my opinion. Great variety and uplifting tunes and words. Not all the songs are favorites, but they have amazing talent and they are great entertainers. Definitely worth a listen.

Not only did the seller send my CD fast, but I received it ahead of time. In addition, this CD by Group 1 Crew is AMAZING! It is one of their best projects yet. Make sure you pick up a copy, it will keep you dancing and reflecting on the goodness of God and His help in making us Fearless!

Much Much better than their last album. I don't know what happened to them between albums, but everything is better, the beats are varied from rock to disco, to ballad. great vocals, and lyrics. Bought this for wife, but I like it too.
