AliMed Daily Communicator is a simple, easy-to-use communication system for adult or older children with limited verbal skills, but with the ability to read at a word level. Each category has a tab for ease of use. Convenient pocket size (3-1/2"W x 6"H) is portable and can be carried in a a pocket or purse. All sets contain the following categories: personal information, about me, family, medical information, medication schedule, important people, days/months/seasons, meal needs, action words, feelings, general clothing, men's and women's needs, time/calendar, money matters, places, weather, numbers, occasions/holidays. Review: Not as helpful as I hoped - My stroke survivor's speech therapist recommended this product, but we have not found it very helpful. It takes practice to use it. The symbols on the tabs are so small and puzzling it's hard for the user to find what he needs. One person in our class of 6 uses his a lot. We have to try a lot of strategies to find those that work.
