Great phone for disabled father!!
My father is disabled with a stroke and has use of only one arm. He loves his new phone and that it can be hands free. He got it 2 weeks ago and so far it works great. He installed it himself and it is simple to use the loud speaker. He enjoys relaxing in bed while he talks and can see the large buttons to dial out on. I feel this is a must for anyone disabled or elderly when having a good phone can really come in handy. The phone seems to be made of good quality , fast shipping and packed well. Thank u for making a great phone and helping my dad !

Great phone for elderly with mild dementia
My 90 year old father is in a memory care unit for mild dementia. We have been unable to visit him during the covid-19 virus out break. He has poor eyesight and is hard of hearing so using a standard phone was difficult for him to dial and he had difficulty hearing us. This phone has made it possible for him to stay in contact with his family while being isolated and has made a noticeable improvement in his attitude. He can easily dial the phone due to the large numbers and he can hear us much more clearly now. I would definitely recommend this product.

Poor quality - doesn't work after only two months of use
I thought this would be great for my elderly mother who has limited vision. It was good until it wasn't. After only two months of use, the buttons went bad. She couldn't dial any phone numbers with a 9 or a 5 because those buttons would not work. Totally useless now.

Nice phone
This is a nice phone that we purchased for my 93 year old mother. The only drawback (for us) is that it's not very heavy. We would like it to stay in one place but with the cord that is provided from the phone to hand piece it's hard to keep it set. We purchased a longer cord and it's working out okay.

Great for Seniors!
I bought this for my dad who is 90. He wanted a simple phone that had a loud ringer, loud volume for the handset, worked with his heating aid, and had larger buttons. I wanted it a darker color so it wouldnt get dirty so easily. This phone fit the bill. I hesitated since I did not recognize the company name. However the phone in the guest room was one years old and a name brand and the read out already was broken. So far, after two weeks, this works as expected (his voice is clear and he can hear everything clearly) and he is very happy with it. He even hooked it up himself so it was easy peasy in that dept. If he is happy, I am happy.

Not for those with pacemakers
I find it odd that a product that is marketed to seniors has a qualification about pacemakers. It wasn't mentioned in the ad. Almost every time that I would call my 92 year old father he would say, "Hello?" And that would be followed with, "Hold on. Let me switch phones so I can hear you better." I decided to fix that last Father's Day. I ordered two of these phones and two similar phones with different features, by another company, available here on Amazon. I was going to let my father decide which ones he liked. I really liked the HePesTer phones because they were simple. The other phones had Caller ID, Call Waiting, Call Forwarding, Call Blocking, Speed Dial, Speaker Phone, Backlit Display on/off, Call Muting, GPS, sunrise/sunset, moon phases, chill factor, major and minor feeding times for fish, heat index, baseball scores, stock tips, and free legal advice for Ecuador, including the Galapagos Islands. My father didn't need all those items complicating his phone. This is the guy that couldn't figure out why his printer started printing in the middle of the night so he just unplugged everything. And that's the way it's been since 2007. So when the phones arrived I read through the instruction to get an idea of the complexity of each one, and there on the last page of the HePesTer instructions was a warning about users with pacemakers. I don't remember what it said exactly, but it had some restrictions concerning recommended distances between the phone and pacemakers. So that one went back in the box and got returned. I can't believe they market that product for seniors but then ad a pacemaker restriction. My father was very pleased with the other phones. I mentioned that they were about the same price, here on Amazon, and the name of the company sounds like Baby and Me.

Easy for 93 year old Mother
Purchased this phone for my 93 year old Mother after she had tried multiple phones over the past 6 years, including the Clarity and a phone that would convert voice to text. This new phone is easy for her to use and she can even hear on it without her hearing aids. Numbers are huge so she can easily read the numbers and having an "old style/familiar" phone really works for her. I got the 12' cord so she can move around more. Since she missed not having an answering machine I purchased an AT&T machine for $19.99 and it works great. Not a lot of bells and whistles on the phone or the answering machine. Success!!

Perfect for Elderly
Our elderly mother was unable to operate any so-called smart phone without creating a disaster. She couldn't use a standard cordless phone because the buttons were too many and too small. And she couldn't hear an old-school phone. This one corrects ALL of these problems. The ringer is loud. The handset is amplified. The buttons are huge. And it ONLY does the essentials - plus speed dial, which is nearly an essential. Arrived promptly, worked as advertised, and reconnected the momma with the world. Great value too.

Very good for visually impaired person.
I ordered this telephone for a visually impaired senior. She was very happy to be able to use the phone again. She couldn’t see the numbers on her previous phone. Although it is very light and the sound is not the best, it’s the fact that she is again able to be connected to friends and family that she is most happy about.

Great phone for the Elderly or Vision-impaired
So easy for my elderly, partially-blind father to use! It’s also very easy to program. The sound quality is certainly acceptable. I’m very happy with this purchase and so is my father!

Great phone to just plug in to the landline!
We never thought we'd mess with a landline again, but this is a simple, well-made telephone with nice big numbers and we just plugged it in and it works great. Of course, the moment the you-know-whos get our phone humber and start harrassing us with you-know-what kind of phone calls, this phone will be unplugged and only used in case of an emergency. But right now, it's cool to have a landline where only friends have the number. Nice old-school phone!

The handset volume on high level is not even as loud as a regular phone on low volume level.
I rarely complain about any Amazon items, but this one is particularly bad. The look of the phone and the large buttons are fine. Even the build quality seems okay, but the volume level on the handset earpiece is totally inadequate for an older person with poor hearing. with the volume switch on high, it was about as loud as a regular phone on low. absolutely ridiculous, and a waste of my time. I spent and hour deciding which phone to order, and now I have to pack it up for shipping and go to the Post Office etc., etc. Don't waste your time on this item.

Phone should be heavier
The phone was purchased for my 91 year old mother-in-law, to make it easy for her to answer a phone and hang up. The phone is far too light as it moves around on the night table, when the receiver is picked up, and she ends up pulling it on the floor.. The keys are large for sight which is good, but it should have a louder receiving capability when parties are talking, as it is difficult for her to hear me. Elderly have hearing problems as well and therefore the phone should be able to deal with this issue as well.
