I normally wear an 8 in men's and 10 in women's and got a 9 in men's for this shoe and it was still too tight but I eventually broke them in. Review: I wear a women's size 9, I should be a men's size 7 so I ordered a 7.5 to cover the small size as previous reviewers wrote. They were still too small, I sent them back and ordered a size 8 and they fit perfectly. So these shoes are great, they're comfortable, cheap and they work for my Isshin Jujitsu class, just make sure you order up a size.
