Does the visor work for protecting against metal bbs? bbs are small balls used for airsoft guns.

For airsoft oh yeah all day. I haven't tried a bb. A bb from a spring powered pistol yes. A shot from a pump bb rifle at close range....probably not.

Does this helmet actually look like the one shown because the photo review I saw looks nothing like what is shown in the sellers photo?

Based on the reviews, the photos were obviously ripped off of other ads and websites. The only thing this helmet has going for it, is that it’s actually made of steel. …which means it will rust without constant corrosion control.

Can you see through the visor?

Yes,you can see through the visor. Obviously not clear as compared to naked eyes but the view is transparent more than being translucent. It is good if said it is clear nearly to a sunshade.
