Bought these for recent holiday in Andalucia Spain. I usually get eaten alive and have a bad reaction to mosquito bites. Anyway wore throughout my holiday one on left wrist and one on right ankle. Not one bite whilst away. Husband also wore one on his wrist and no bites until he decided not to wear one when we went out in the evening. He was bitten on his leg and arm (I did tel him but he knew bast🤣). He soon put one on the next day. Lots of people round our pool got bitten and I did see a few people with lots of bites on their legs. I would definitely recommend them. I know they may not work for everyone but they did for me. They look stylish too. I would love it if you could do some metallic colours like gold and silver or ones with more paler colour palate. I intend to buy the spray to rejuvenate the ones I have worn, but I have popped them back in the bag with ones I haven't and they seen to have got their smell back on them.

I bought the Pestects Mosquito Repellent Bracelets with some doubt before traveling to India, but to my surprise, they actually worked quite well! They provided good protection against mosquitoes, and I liked that they are DEET-free and safe for both adults and kids. However, I noticed that once the bracelet gets damp or wet, its effectiveness decreases, which was a bit disappointing. Despite that, when dry, it does the job well and lasted a good amount of time. Overall, a great natural alternative for repelling mosquitoes—just keep them dry for the best results!

Hard to tell if these work. Though when I wear them I have’t had any issues with biting insects. Worth buying in case they do. I’d always take some just in case. Lots in the bag and the scent last a long time.

I can see from other reviews that these have worked for most people, unfortunately this was not the case with us. We bought two packs of these for our trip to Philippines, knowing that during this time of year there are a lot of mosquitoes. Whilst they seemed to work for the first few days in the city, once we reached a more rural area they just seemed to stop working. We even got bites around the bands even though we all wore two, on the wrist and ankle as suggested. Perhaps if you are just visiting a city these might work really well, but not as much in the countryside. Also be wary about using light coloured towels or clothing with these as the colours will bleed and stain. The packaging says the scent lasts for 20 days, but we found it lasted for maybe 4 or 5 days at most. You may need to get someone to tie these for you as doing it yourself can be a bit fiddly. Whilst I love the idea and aesthetics of these, unfortunately they did not work as well as we hoped.

Having seen these advertised on Facebook I was a bit skeptical but for the price decided they were worth a go! (If anything they’d look cute and match different outfits!) Last summer in France my extended family had gotten eaten alive by mosquitoes and it more or less left residual trauma… think blotchy legs resembling something out of an infection based horror movie. No one wanted that again. So I purchased these. For the entire 2 weeks, I wore one on my wrist and ankle. (Along with my usual ritual of soaking myself in skin so soft) and I did not get bitten once! How do I know they were effective? Apart from each night going on a mosquito killing spree in the room before bed. Everyone else got at least 2-3 bad bites—when they weren’t wearing their bracelets! Unbelievably impressed with this purchase and we will be stocking up again before any other holiday! Points to note: What I did notice was after a day or so, they started to lose their smell. I’m not entirely sure if this would lower the overall effectiveness over time, so to counter this, I rotated bracelets each day. I had a set of four, wore two and placed the used two back in the original sealed bag. This kept them fresh each day. Towards the end of the two weeks, there was barely any smell and if that did signal the bracelet becoming ineffective, it would be worth having two packs for longer trips. Advertising claims they are waterproof. This is a point we are not sure on. One dip in a pool and they smelt like chlorine. So we opted for the safe option to take them off if we went swimming and right back on after. They do smell exceptionally strong when you open them, which may irritate some people. But this was a small compromise and preferable to becoming a mosquito main course! Overall I’m really impressed with these and will definitely be purchasing in the future!

I am someone who is literally eaten alive for the first few nights of every foreign holiday. It’s not unusual for me to be bitten 20-30 times, mainly on my legs and feet but also upper arms on the first few nights of any foreign holiday. One year I had about 15 really nasty bites on one foot alone, each toe swelled so badly I could hardly walk. I have tried all the usual sprays and plug in things for over night and nothing has ever really worked. I saw the adverts for these on social media and thought why not, I’ll try anything!! I also bought the spray. Everyday of my holiday, from early evening onwards I wore a band on my wrist and one on my ankle and also sprayed my legs… I didn’t want to take any chances!! I wore them to sleep in too. I am thrilled to say I came away from my holiday with absolutely NO bites whatsoever, anywhere!! For the first time in decades. I am so thrilled. My family, who don’t suffer as badly as I do anyway, also wore them and came away bite free as well. I cannot recommend this product/brand enough. If you’re someone who gets bitten a lot go for it! Even if it means you get bitten even half as much it’s so worth it!

Absolutely useless. They didn't me from getting bitten. Spend your money on skin spray instead. They are now in the garbage....

Have worn a couple now but have still been bitten. Even a couple of inches from the product. Not strong enough or powerful enough to repel mosquitoes.
